What benefit is there to spending an extra £10+ on this new V4 vs the current V3?

The difference is you can hide the password from being displayed for added security, the v3 displays it.

Does the M7350 have antenna connections, if so, what type are they?

With the exception of the micro-USB charging point, there are no external connections on this device. The antenna is of the fixed internal type.

Can it be used in any countries?

from experience this works right across Europe, you can buy SIMs that cover the whole of Europe or buy the SIM in the country you are visiting. Be aware that the SIM you buy in the UK might be loaded up for Giga Bytes of internet data for a provider here, make sure 1) the provider has a partner provider in the country you are visiting 2) check the coverage of that provider where you are staying e.g. on cellmapper.net to see which provider has the best coverage 3) what they do not tell you in the shops in the UK that it is not just plug in and go and you'll get an internet connection you'll most likely have to reconfigure your profile. To save you hours and hours of wasted time trying to get this to work when you get there plan which provider is best to where you are visiting and very important this bit find out the APN for that provider. The APN in the UK by default tends to be blank, most providers in France, Italy, Spain this is NOT blank you have to add the correct value. For example in France to roam on Orange network - APN name: orange.fr needs to be configured in your connection profile.

How easy is sim change? since slot is under battery, is it fast to power down/power on? (i sometimes change sims for better network connection)
