Worth the money. Lots of shade.
I heard complaints about the plastic inserts that connect the swing arms to the frame snapping, just do one by one and extend the legs as you go, if it’s too windy you going to need a second set of hands. With that out of the way, this thing is huge!! Gives a ton of shade and keeps you cool . I got it in sale so o definitely got my moneys worth with this. I ended up buying aftermarket brackets to make it work with my track so it’ll clear the rear door when I wanted to open it. It’s heavy but I managed to put it up by myself.

Some mods required for some applications.
This product is incredible! It's easy to use (one man operation if needed), sturdy in strong winds (as long as all guy lines are deployed), and the recent production improvements have made tremendous differences. We did have to fabricate and install some blocks to lift the awning over the edge of our trailer and close the gap, but this also doesn't exist in most applications. The Yakima/Thule bracket is VERY misleading (different product) and absolutely requires drilling out the holes in the Rhino bracket, but the effort was more than worth the result.

Great awning, with one serious drawback.
Great awning. however the supports for the poles are made of paper mache, they break if you look at them funny. at least they are easy to replace. do yourself a favor and buy a couple of Batwing Pole Service Kits, you'll need them.

Shockingly poor quality
First trip using this awning, a 5-10mph puff of wind folded the awning over the jeep and broke a hinge bracket. They include 2 spare hinge brackets, so this is intended - but we hadn't even finished setting it up and the wind wasn't blowing... just one little 'puff'. The hinge is intended to break to avoid damage to the poles, however the pole also bent. When replacing the hinge I noticed that the awning cover was ripped - this is with less then 2,000 road miles and maybe 100 offroad miles. This awning is garbage. Save your money and buy something with decent quality.

Cheap! Have yet to hear back from seller for warranty!!!
I guess you pay for what you get with this awning. The awning is pretty nice but the stitching, cover, and legs are crap.. I've only used it once so far and from this one time use, the cover, which is made from a thin vinyl fabric ripped. A few of the guy rope loops also tore off when a gust of wind blew through camp. One of the legs seized up and can no longer retract or extend. Many attempts have been made to get in touch with the seller; Got-Chrome, but it has fallen on deaf ears and blind eyes. I've even tried getting directly in touch with Rhino but have also failed. Hopefully Amazon pulls through so I can get this awning repaired under warranty. If I could do it again, I'd spend the extra $4-500 and get a better one!
