Don't know what it does. I am using it because it has olive.

Originally i thought it was working, i bought for my box braids. I didnt want the thickness of my jamaican black castor oil on my scalp but still wanted something light ajd moisturising. and i loved the nozzle which made it easy to apply but after a few days i noticed it caused some kind of reaction to my scalp and it would itch and get scabby. So i emptied the contents, washed out the bottle and filled with my trusty jamaican black castor oil. Does the trick
