Great for budget cosplayers or those just getting into wig styling. It does shed when pulled too tightly but I found that holding the hair in your hand and detangling it below your grip like you would real hair can minimize this. Con to it being a cheap wig is that it takes a bit more patience to get it where you want it.I first started by steaming and the flat ironing the wig, the lowest temp on my flat iron worked really well after steaming. Because it is a longer wig be prepared to carry a comb to touch up throughout the day if you plan to wear it after styling with little to no product on the end instead of breaking it down to build fresh. If you are building from scratch it's still a great one to start with because its thick enough that you will likely only need 2 for what you need to do unless its a BIG project but using underwire and batting can help. That said, it does get tangled easily if you are just brushing it behind your shoulder without much care throughout the day, and a small mat had formed at the bottom hairline of the wig but was easily removed when steaming and combing carefully after the day was done.The bangs were basically bulletproof after steaming, lots of Got2B, and then more steam to set it while brushing with a cheap toothbrush from dollar tree. The bottom of the wig could be less trouble if you're willing to load it up with hairspray and steam, but I only added a bit because I wanted to keep the natural hair look.Overall the hair quality is great for the price point if you're willing to put in the work. On top of a wig cap it laid pretty great, and I have THICK curly long hair so that is saying something, and I did put my hair into 6 braids (3 parts on each side) to help.I got compliments all day and the hair truly made me feel like Princess Bubblegum! I am kind of a mapofbeauty fan now and have already purchased a few different wig lengths and colors for my next cosplay!@threecuriouslemons on tiktok & youtube

MapofBeauty's wig fibers tend to be great for cosplay wigs especially. I personally wouldn't get this as its own wig for a hair stand-in, since these fibers don't stay neat for very long. However, curling or crimping can help with that if you want to. Plenty of cosplayer-made tutorials on those. The wig cap is breathable and fits my head well. The fibers came nice and smooth and wonderfully curled and were easy to style from there. This brand also has some of the best prices on the market for what you get.

EDIT: I ordered additional wigs to use for wefts to fill out the wig and something on them made me get a rash, I had left a bad review and the company immediately contacted me to find out what happened we went back and forth a bit with pictures and they said that it seemed like the wig may have been a return that was used, and they offered to send me new wigs or refund me. A+ for customer service.Original review below.---So first off the fiber in this wig is pretty nice, very soft and silky, and not too shiny, a far cry from most cheap Halloween/party store wigs. the color is fairly accurate to what was pictured.However this is a VERY cheap wig, the cap base is what I call "onion bag style" rather than being a normal wig base with fine mesh that is shaped to the head, it's just a loose sack of coarse mesh that pulls over your head. in the photo I attached you can see that and also see how far apart the wefts are spaced, pretty much any way that you move the hair you will be able to see the mesh beneath, so don't plan on wearing it any way other than down, exactly how it comes out of the bag.All that being said I paid about $12 for this and this is very nice for a $12 wig. This is much nicer quality than a wig that you would get for that price at a place like a Halloween store.

This wig was super easy to style! The wefts are nice and dense. Crimping doesn't melt the hair. I was able to go through and straighten the hair after I crimped it!! Heat styling doesn't hold up that well so I had to use hair spray but this wig is amazing for the price!! I will definitely be buying this again!!

pretty thin, and sheds a lot. but if you plan on styling it with a crimper, it's a pretty good wig that turns out pretty soft. But if you're not crimping it, i would pass on this.

Easy to style and isn't too uncomfortable!! It stayed well on my head with pins over my bald cap. It wasn't too hard to style at all and looks exactly like the picture!

I hate wigs!! I think they are gross! But for the price the hair quality is nice and the color was just what I needed for my Madam Mim costume. I wish the bangs were a little less, because they kind of over power my forehead.

PLEASE DO NOT BUY THIS!This wig is horrible! I rarely write reviews on stuff that I buy on Amazon, but this is crazy.First off, the way the bangs are put are sewn towards to the face, meaning the bangs go straight down and onto your face. You can't separate the sides of the bangs on the to the sides.Second off, the so called "bangs", looked like the normal wig hair in the front was just chopped off. It has very HARD edges and the 'bangs' are barely layers and are all the same length.Third, the wig is VERY itchy and it sheds A LOT. Chunks of hair were coming out as I was combing it out.Fourth, the quality was SUPER ANNOYING. It was hard to cut and had both thick and thin hairs in it. There are also some random layers on the lower part of the wig, so if you try and braid it, parts of the wig stick out it look very ugly. Weirdly enough, the wig is shiny.LASTLY, the wig cap is WAYYYY too small and it's hard to put all your hair in. I recommend you french-braid your hair in order to get all of it to fit in the cap.PLEASE SAVE YOUR MONEYYYYY!!! ALTHOUGH IT'S CHEAP, DON'T BUY THIS! YOU'LL THANK ME LATER!!
