I don't usually leave reviews, but I was really hesitant on buying this product and I just wanted to share why I am really glad that I did. Matcha can be expensive and there is a huge selection of on Amazon so I was really doing my research. I knew I wanted an organic high culinary grade matcha, since the ceremonial grade is way out of my price range for tea. I also wanted to purchase from a reliable company that would make sure they had fresh product on the shelves. I was almost set on the other seller I was looking at, but then I saw this Reishi blend from Pantenger. I had been wanting to incorporate medicinal mushrooms into my daily intake, and what better source than from where they naturally grow in Japan. I was just a little hesitant because I didn't want a strong mushroom taste making the tea bitter.I just received my tea yesterday and wow I was so impressed!! The color and texture of the matcha is great! Smelled fresh and earthy. I made my cup first thing in the morning the day after daylight savings time (I definitely think this is important info as I am not a morning person and that loss of an hour usually wrecks me every year lol). Made sure not to get my water too hot. My first 8oz cup was just the tea and water. You can definitely tell there is something other than just the matcha, but not in a bad way. The reishi added a deep earthy flavor that was not too over bearing. I usually drink about 20oz of a dark Peruvian coffee every morning (I have a two year old so good coffee is my life) so my taste buds might be a little different than yours. I did have a second cup because I really wanted to try it with my coconut almond milk and it was great!What I was most impressed with though, was the calming energy that I got from the tea. I work at a computer all day, so by 3pm my energy and focus is on a downward spiral and I usually start to crave another cup of coffee. That was not the case yesterday, and on the Monday after Daylights savings! (See told you it was important info) I actually had to work 5.5hrs overtime yesterday and those two cups of tea totaling maybe 16oz carried me through. Very happy customer here, $22 was well worth it.

It has great matcha flavor but I have hard time dissoving it.

The product is pretty awesome. It does give me a boost of energy. The taste is so neutral it can be added to just about anything.For me overall this product does not score above average because the packaging is not adequate. This comes in a pouch, Matcha is a FINE powder. Every time I open OR close the pouch Matcha spews up in a giant green dust cloud. This product is too fine to be in a pouch. When you change the packaging to a bottle I will purchase it again. Right now, with the packaging being the way that it is I feel as though I waste as much as I use every time I open and close the product. :(

I like this a lot -- It does what it says. Honestly, I feel better on the days I am using this -- usually use M-F @ work when I fix my regular tea.You don't need a lot . . . I mix it well but still add water and mix some more as I start to drink it down. Good value for the $

Amazing! Absolutely love it! Gives you same kick as coffee but doesn't leave me with that junky feeling after as coffee when it stops working. I hooked few of my coworkers on it already :)
