100% Silicone Treadmill Lubricant | 4 Ounces Treadmill Belt Lubricant, Easy to Apply & Suitable for Most Treadmill Brands

I know it’s advertised as Treadmill Lubricant, but this stuff works great on my elliptical! My elliptical began to squeak and cleaning it wouldn’t help with the noise. I applied a bit of the Treadmill Lubricant with a small artist brush to the arm joints and it worked like magic! I haven’t heard a squeak since (It’s been a month since first application). I’m sure the hose attachment will come in handy for other areas, but it was too large to fit where I needed it at the joints. I’ve actually started applying this lubricant to other things around the house like squeaky doors and cabinets and it’s worked like a charm. A little bit goes a long way and I’ve hardly made a dent in the bottle. This is one of those things I will always keep on hand and it’s great for the price!

The shoebox size of a package for a small bottle is a waste of resources

This treadmill lube works just fine, but the picture is a bit misleading. The nice, straight tube shown in the picture is used to attach to the bottle as a dispensing nozzle. It allows you to get the lube in toward the middle of the belt by simply sliding it under the edge of the belt, squeeze the bottle to start the lube flowing, then pull the tube back away from the center of the belt to apply lube across the width of the belt. Repeat on the other side, and then run the treadmill for a minute or two to spread the lube. The problem is that they ship the tube in a bag that's too small, so they bend it almost in half to fit in the bag. That leaves a curve in the tube that pretty much defeats its intended purpose. The tube "remembers" the curve, and nothing I've tried has allowed to be as straight as it should be. Otherwise, it's great!

Mistake 1: buying an applicator which is too short, which is usually true of lubes that come with a treadmill. Mistake 2: buying a long applicator, but which is wobbly (you can tell in the product photos if it's curved). Mistake 3: buying an applicator which is attached to the lube container - this makes it difficult to cleanly store the whole package after you've used it. On point 3, keep the box for this product; take it apart after lubing the treadmill, and put it back as it came packaged; this keeps the stray lube contained, so you don't get it all over your place.This product is seriously easy to apply lube cleanly and thoroughly. Everything else I've tried has you squeezing the bottle and trying to guess how much got applied; getting mathematical with how to prevent the applicator kinking or curving back around. They've all made a huge mess required pinching and pulling your belt (often leading to belt drift), and applying more than you need to. This one saves a lot of time and effort.
