I’m diabetic, and foot care is no joke. My doctor recommended this lotion to help prevent ulcers and keep my skin from cracking like desert pavement. I’ve been using it daily, and honestly? It works. Great product!!

I've(kind of) used this for a few months so I could form an honest opinion. I will say that I think this does work but only if you commit to using it routinely. I did at first and noticed my skin was softer and my bumps were fading. However, this lotion is a sensory nightmare so I found myself dreading it so I couldn't commit to using as much as I should to see it's full effects. The smell.. is not great. Very sulfur like. I know its unavoidable, especially since this is fragrance free, as it should be to be most beneficial but I would find myself catching the smell faintly later in the day or on any fabrics I touched before it fully absorbed. As for texture, it is thick. Which is good but for someone with sensory issues, it's also a nightmare. It takes a lot of effort to rub it in and it takes a bit to absorb. However once it's absorbed, it's fine. It doesn't linger longer than 30 minutes. So if you're on a budget, can tolerate the smell, and don't have sensory issues-this is for you. It will do what it is meant to do. I don't hate it, I'm just a baby lol

Why did you pick this product vs others?:This product was recommended by my friend who has been using it for her dry, aging skin. Her dermatologist prescribed it for her - ammonium lactate 12%.I started using it on my full body and occasionally on my face. Probably 3 weeks of use. Wow!!! The results are incredible. My aging skin is a bit shiny and so soft. I have never had adverse reactions with this product. I do layer CeraVe moisturizing cream on top of a thin layer of the ammonium lactate. Likewise, when I use it on my face, I layer moisturizer on top - outcome = great results.Highly recommend for anyone with dry skin!

Product is great, recommended by hospital for callused skin.But received one bottle wrapped in plastic with sticker that said "This is a set, do not seperate". :(
