STOPPED WATER FLOW AND STUCK IN PIPE
Stopped the smell, but also stopped the water flow, now I can't remove it as it's suctioned stuck! Will have to spend £100s to get this device removed from my pipe by lifting the shower tray up.

Overpriced Drain Seal - Be careful of manufacturers Dimensions
The product would be 5 stars if they could actually get the dimensions proper as per the manufacturer's website. It is well built and sturdy design, but outer tolerances are off as I ordered based on fit range in millimeters from Green Drain website. I have verified my inside drain diameter, and it should have a slight friction fit, but instead just slides into drain without any resistance. At the moment I have cut a band from a bicycle inner tube, and wrapped it around the outside to provide enough friction fit so it doesn't fall down into the trap below.

Seems to work.. well made & expensive
This little thing is very expensive for what it is...but it's designed to do exactly what I needed it for (blocking sewer odors, on a never-used drain). It's very well-made, comes in lots of sizes, and it works better than one other i tried. Overall...definitely recommended
