Just Right for a Point-and-Shooter like me
I shot the video on lowest resolution in poor lighting conditions. The still image was also taken at the lowest resolution. My brother, who took professional photos, owned cameras costing over $500 each. He would spend an hour taking one picture and then spend more time on his computer to get it just right. In contrast, this video camcorder costs well under $200 and is designed for people like me, the “point and shoot” type, who don’t need pictures even close to perfect. It lacks an optical zoom, interchangeable lens, and changeable focus. But it is just right for people like me; it is inexpensive and easy to use. I only need to tell it what resolution and quality (compression) I want. I set other controls to automatic (auto). I don’t need to manually set white balance, filters, exposure, ISO, metering (to determine where to adjust brightness), and, of course, whether to stamp the time in the image. The screen shows my selections as icons. But if you are a perfectionist or want only the best, you can get a used 4K camcorder for as little as $780, more than four times the price. I use the camera for still photos and videos and, most importantly for me, as a WebCam for Zoom and Skype through its USB port. The included remote control allows me to zoom in and out as needed. USB and HDMI Ports: Besides WebCam use, the USB port lets me download images and videos to the computer. It also has an HDMI port to display them on my TV. Wi-Fi: You can connect to the camcorder through its app, HelloCam. Initially, I had security concerns, but the camcorder creates its own Wi-Fi signal. It does not connect to my home Wi-Fi. The app allows you to do the following: • See live video of the camera on the app. • Trigger the camera to take videos or photos in live view mode. • Use continuous shooting mode. • Select timer trigger mode. • Change the video and image quality. • Format the camera's SD card. • List the photo and video files stored on the camera. • Most importantly, download or delete the files to your phone. Battery and Charger: The package contains two batteries and a charger. The camera uses one battery at a time, with the second acting as a spare. The batteries are the same as Casio NP-40 batteries. In summary, I will mostly use this camera at home as a webcam. While away from home, I will use it to take photos and videos. It is lightweight, making it easy to carry on trips.

Good Video Camera
I purchased this camcorder for my son, and he absolutely loves it! This camera has not only fulfilled his dream of becoming a YouTuber but also allowed him to practice his videography skills without constantly relying on his phone, which I was concerned might lead to screen addiction. The camcorder itself performs well, with an impressive 8K resolution and 64MP still images, providing crystal-clear quality. The 18X digital zoom is a nice feature that allows for great versatility in shooting different types of scenes. Additionally, it comes with a dedicated audio recording tool, ensuring that the sound quality matches the high-definition video output. Within just two days, my son had already recorded 50GB of footage, which shows how much he's enjoying using this camera. Of course, creating great videos takes practice, but with this camcorder, he's on the right path to improving his skills. Overall, it's an excellent purchase for anyone looking to start vlogging or work on their videography. Highly recommended!

A lot of features for the low price
first, the good stuff. This was my first digital video camera, and it has a lot of fantastic features and settings. It also came with 2 batteries AND a charger, so I can use one while charging the other. Instructions don't say much more than 'you have this feature, and here it is'...wish there was a more extensive instruction manual that came with it. I found it difficult to figure out how everything works, and it takes practice to quickly and smoothly operate it if you need to switch features. There is not a stabilization feature and no focus feature. If you are going to be standing still and taking your videos, it's absolutely the right camera for you, but if you are going to be walking or moving it takes shaky and sometimes blurry videos. I am a novice, and didn't realize how important that is. So, I'm getting a stabilizer handle, then may have to go to a gimble, which costs more than the camera did. I do love it, but respect it's limitations - I learned a lot from using it. If anybody out there has suggestions for me on these two issue, I'd love the feedback!

This camera SURPRISED me!
I have been needing a portable camera for our church live stream. I needed something small and light to use for a piano keyboard camera as well as something for recording short clips for social media. I didn't think I could meet both of those needs with only one camera but this one did the trick. I was a little skeptical because I have been looking at cameras in the $800-$1000 range. The zoom was way more than enough to get the piano keyboard shot without mounting the camera right on the piano. The HDMI OUT ties in perfectly with my existing ATEM Mini Pro setup. As far as shooting clips for social media, it's more than enough. Due to our bandwidth limitations, HD and 4K are sufficient. The included zoom mic makes a huge difference when shooting subjects at further distances. I have just begun to experiment with the iOS app but this looks promising as well, especially with the camera mounted remotely during worship services. With our church's limited budget, I saved enough that I may even purchase a second camera to leave permanently mounted. This camera gets Five Stars.

Not worth your money. Very poor quality.
Very poor resolution. My old cameras are far better than this one. I immediately returned it thinking it was defected. I bought an identical one. Same story. They are a waste of money.

Great handheld recorder
I think it's great that it came with 2 batteries, charger, memory card, case, and speaker. It took seconds to format the memory and the camera was really easy to setup. It has the option to take photos and videos. I really look forward to using this during the holidays and birthdays. I hate when my phone runs out of storage so this will definitely be my savior. It's the perfect size to hold. The buttons are accessible with your thumb so quick change modes. I like the video options where I can do it as a slow video and also the option to be on a timer. Photo mode also has a timer and burst photos feature. The touch screen is convenient as well. There are multiple resolutions and also a feature to do color photos or black and white. A great beginner camera.

Amazing handy-cam great video quality
I purchased this camcorder for my upcoming wedding. Upon opening the package you can see the camcorders sleek design. Be sure to fully charge your batteries before using to get optimum performance. The colors are crisp and the image is clear. The touch screen works great and completely rotates around so others can watch what you've recorded as well. The zoom in/out transitions smoothly. You can also take snapshots while recording. The remote allows you to have control from a short distance. all at the touch of a button. I have yet to try the night vision in a low-light setting but am anxious to do so. I'm sure that I will not be disappointed. In conclusion, the Video Camera Camcorder 8K 64MP has transformed my videography experience and made my life more colorful and exciting. I couldn't be happier with this purchase, and I highly recommend it to anyone in need of a high-quality, versatile camcorder.

Too many issues
I was hoping to video record and have power through usb on camera at the same. A total failure. The ports are too close to one another so it i, hdmi or usb power but not both. The other problem is the screw in for a tripod was not made deep enough so my camera wobbled on the tripod. I had to use duct tape to solve the tripod easy. Finally, after placing a lavieler microphone on camera i could not get it to work considtently. For the price i paid, i am not worried about the loss. You get what you pay for.
