It was a very fun game to play, from start to finish. The ost was cool too... not better than Ys 8, but a cool ost for sure. The story was suffucient to keep the player engaged, but it's still surpassed by Ys 8's story, by far. Even though, you'll get many hours of fun gaming and an interesting world to explore. PS: Play the game with Japanese voices, because the english dubs from NISA ain't good. There's also an NPC from the ship crew who seems to be a girl by all angles, but I don't if NISA's wocalizers took creative liberties with him, or if Falcom in fact is putting efforts into gaining Black Rick investments for promoting this kind of stuff... thankfully, it's such a minor NPC that it has no relevance in the game as a whole.

Great game. I love this series the gameplay loops is so fun. It may not be the most amazing graphically but with sailing like assassins creed odyssey, perhaps the most fun pairing in the series, and the usual fun gameplay I've loved from previous games this is definitely what I've been wanting from it . My only issue is that Proud Nordics isn't on PS5 but this game is still amazing

Decided to buy this a while ago because Ys 8 and Ys 9 was on ps+, and thoroughly enjoyed those two. This game was amazing, the ship battles were fun, the gameplay is YS and I would say gameplay wise it’s much better than 9 and 8. Story wise I’d say it’s slightly worse than 8, but still better than 9. Music is just as good as all the others. The game got delivered to me on time, no issues, great game, had loads of fun with it.

Awesome game perfect for those who like action rpg. I’ve played all the games in the series so it was a no brained to pick this one up. There is a new edition that is set to release later this year for those who want to wait to play the complete games with the new editions. Regardless this is still a great pick up especially if you can get it discounted, I got it for $25.

Didn't come with the art book despite it showing it will come with one. Other than that I enjoy Ys and this is no different. Would give 5 stars, but the missing art book is something I am sure many people would liked to get since they paid for it.

This is an excellent game. Easy to learn and challenging to master. Great story and character development. Enough content to keep you engaged while not being overwhelming. Nihon Falcom does it again.

Kind of did and didn't break away from the most recent Ys trend of making you swap between party members that's been going on since Ys 7. Now it's a duo back and forth that you don't really have to swap that often. Otherwise it's still very much Ys as I've been enjoying for years now. Looking forward to whatever they give us for Ys 11.

Excelente juego

As a relative newcomer to this series who has only played a few of the past releases I can honestly say this game is great and falcom have seemingly stepped it up a notch since ys 9 monster nox . The game is creative , colourful, addictive , fun and has loads to do. I love the new 2 person combat system and all the abilities that come with it . Still have to complete the game but I’d feel comfortable recommending this to anyone interested in JRPG’s or fun action adventure games . My only gripe is that the “artbook” that comes with it is basically a weak excuse for a book there’s like a few character designs and 3 illustrations. They could’ve done better than that - still though it’s more than other companies give away so I’m not detracting points or anything I just wish it was a little bigger lol
