These are lovely needles. Very good quality.

Perfect for EPP, I prefer the longer length of milliners needles over traditional quilting needles. Work well with 80 weight Deco Bob thread. You will need the clover fine needle threader unless you have eyes like a hawk. Very sharp and strong. Much better than the supposedly premium Japanese needles and much cheaper

I typically love John James needles, but I found this particular set to be on the weak side and did not hold up well for millinery purposes. Trying to push this through a few layers of felt and some buckram proved to be too much, and the needle bent. I suspect for lighter use they would be fine, but they do not live up to the strength I needed on a millinery project with heavier materials.

I never realised what a difference a quality needle would make. They are lovely and sharp with perfect 'eyes'. Perfect for my needs. I've thrown away all my cheap and nasty needles and will only use these. I'll never buy cheap needles again.

John James needles are the best I use them for many years as a professional seamstress

These are my absolute favourite needles. Long enough to hold comfortably and fine enough to hand sew very neatly.
