I added this to a Pangea audio rack replacing the bottom rack. It's pretty sturdy, thanks to the weight of the vinyl records. Problem is that I am left with the bottom rack and posts with nothing to do with them. I wish the manufacturers sold just the posts and criss cross supports without the shelving. Set against the wall, a backstop (that is present on the record shelf panel) is not always necessary. After all, the attraction of this modular construction is the ability to modify as needed.Overall, the Pangea audio racks are a great value, attractive, robust and functional.

This shelf let me use the top shelf for my Teac reel to reel and this shelf in the number two position for my turntable. Outstanding solution for what was originally a real issue for component placement.

The design of the entire rack including Add On LP storage Kit is very clever. No tools are necessary. Everything was assembled by hands. Generous space for equipment. Pangea has a separate sub, amplifier stands, which I also recommend for heavier equipment as monoblocks.

Everything was wrapped nicely and protected. The company really cares about the product they are selling. I bought a turntable stand from them a few years ago and was very satisfied. Even though they have gone up in price significantly the quality is there to match the price.

This is a sturdy addition to the solid Pangea rack system. It's just big enough to house a second turntable in the middle of the stack, as long as the turntable dust cover hinges will hold the cover raised at 45 degrees. It's a godsend for multiple turntables (and LP collections) when you have tight horizontal space in your listening room.

Perfect addition to the four shelf unit for holding LPs. It doesn't hold all my LPs, but holds the ones I listen to most, about 110 with a little room to spare for thumbing through them.

I had bought two full racks and had some leftover shelves so I bought this LP set to “build” a small table. Well made and strong fit. Like most, I wish you could buy individual pieces.

Fit perfectly on my current tower. Great color match after purchasing original unit a year ago. Fits most of my vinyl collection.
