This is a needle tip ballpoint pen with great, smooth ink. This pens have been a wonderful find for this stationary geek. I work in an office where your pens get "borrowed" if they aren't locked up, but it is a pain to keep everything locked up all the time. If one of these gets borrowed, the borrower comes back and wants to know where I got the pen they "borrowed". The needle point is great for using with a ruler for drawing straight line. I teach and make many "spreadsheets" by hand for certain things, so a pen that can get right up against a ruler it is great. Do a bit of searching on Amazon and find the other configurations these come in. I've found them in the standard red, black, blue colors and a multi-color pack, so perfect for my uses.

These are great pens and write beautifully. I’m weird about pens and am always looking for “good writers”. These are probably my favorites.

I wanted a basic set of pens with colored inks for a project I was working on, so I ordered a pack of Pentonic pens for under $5. The colors were vibrant. I'm a fussy pen person, and to my surprise, the black pen became my Go To pen for all writing: lists, notes, etc. I wasn't content to have just one black Pentonic pen, so I had to order a 25 pack. These "basic" pens are anything but basic. Better than Bic, Zebra, Papermate, and even better than Uni Jetstream!!

I highly recommend these. The ink doesn’t bleed, allowing for smooth, continuous writing without drying out. It has a nice, easy flow, and the scent on paper is pleasant. it feels incredibly comfortable to write with.
