These things are crazy expensive, and I found myself wondering why I needed it in the first place. And the honest truth is - I didn't. Yet I still wanted it. Why? Well, more than the aesthetic appeal, it actually is useful to have a canister than you can fill from either the regular isobutane canister or the tall aerosol butane type. If you're an ultralight backpacker, skip this one and just go with the regular canisters. It's pretty hefty. That said, for everything else it's great. I just wish it was in the $25 to $29 price range. If it ever goes on sale, I'll definitely buy a backup.

Bad product good idea

While I agree that these are not "ultra light" they are ultra durable. In fact I liked them so much that I purchase six one in each size and color.

I'm a great fan of the Campingmoon refillable tanks and have been using them extensively for over a year. Extremely well constructed, durable, precision machined and a high attention to detail.The TC-28 (Back right rear and silver TC-28 front center) is the perfect size for a small solo mug style camping kit. Able to cook a full mess tin of rice, a side dish, coffee/hot beverage and extra hot water for cleanup on a single fill. For those times you just need to get away and have a nice hot meal, it's an excellent addition to any solo kit.All are equipped with standard 1/4" camera tripod lug for additional support.
