This item arrives in a nice and presentable packaging. It’s a compact, portable, great quality, well made audio interface, that would make a wonderful tool for musicians, Podcasters, people who do voice over or YouTubers. With several options for voice control makes it suitable for karaoke at home, which is what I use this for. Both my husband and I love singing, this mixer works perfectly for that. The sound quality is good with low background noise. All the controls you need to mix the sound are contained in this small compact unit. I also like that there are many input options that you can plug into the deck, including two microphone inputs, perfect for my husband and I to use. That said, I find that the instruction manual is not very user friendly, if you are like me who is not a big audio person, it does take a while for me to understand how it works. Good thing my husband is quite a technical person, even though mixing sound and music is not his thing, he knows the control terms, inputs and outputs, and how to put everything together quickly. In short, this is a good entry level mixer that’s compact, lightweight and well-made. There is no price at present to advise on value for money.

There is a microphone with a tripod provided, and although it's not really the best quality, when I tried it, it picked up sounds from the table it was on, so you may have to be mindful of that even with the noise-canceling button turned on. There are two microphone inputs, and these won't fit an xlr or 1/4-inch cable, so you may have to keep that in mind when you get a replacement. Otherwise, find adaptors online. The microphone comes with an xlr to 1/8 port cord, quite a good length, and quality. There are rubber legs on the bottom, so it doesn't necessarily move around, and the lights are perfect for a dark room - there's a switch if you need them off too. There is a music input for you to play music on the mixer, and it has an output for a headset, so you hear everything from the mixer and the microphone. If you're into singing, however, it doesn't totally tune out the vocals from a song, and that's fine for the price anyway. I also tried the output for streaming, and the volume is not that satisfactory, especially with other people using their pods simultaneously. But I'm guessing I needed to turn the volume all the way up. The best feature so far is that you can record your effects (for example, your voice from the microphone), And the auto-tune can change it if you don't like the sound of your voice. So, there is no holding back from achieving your dream of becoming the best voice actor, DJ, or podcaster. I have been trying to use this thing since July when I received it. Software is not compatible with this product which is the AU-AM200. I have tried to download on my iPhone and windows to no avail. I can’t hear anything at all from my computer due to lack of software. Then I thought I found a solution by deleting and downloading again- but this time it was in Japanese and basically was a manual. Total crap. This is very frustrating because I’ve had this thing for 2 months and have never used it. I also reached out to customer support and they were not helpful. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. I am extremely tech savvy, but this is a piece of crap. The instruction manual that comes with it is a joke.
