Amazing value and quality
I've been looking for a replacement stove top for quite a while now. Last time we chose to go with an expensive name-brand and it only lasted around 5 years. This last year the high-output burners on my high-priced stove were horrible. I was hesitant to replace it with an unknown brand at a price of about a third of what I paid for my old one. Wow, was I impressed. The burners all get much hotter than the expensive unit. Boiling water is now super quick. They light easily and work well and the entire thing is built well. Amazing value and quality. I highly recommend this stove top!

Great cooktop
This was a great upgrade to my old cooktop. Very easy to install. Seems high quality and we love having the fifth burner. I definitely recommend this cooktop.

Bargain 5-burner Gas Cooktop, but Somewhat Frustrating for Serious Cooks
Fitting 5 gas burners in a 30-inch cooktop always involves compromises. With a couple of exceptions, this one does it pretty well, unless you are a demanding cook. Plusses: • Five burners – one simmer, two medium, one high and one large high-output (21,000 Btu claimed). This allows a great deal of flexibility in pan sizes and heat output. • The high-output burner is set back several inches from the center. It has an inner and an outer burner ring, which improves heat distribution. It’s meant for large pans – 12 inches minimum and works well with a wok. It is very fast at boiling water in a large pot • Good looking and inexpensive • Knobs are metal, not plastic. • Relatively easy to clean – the burner assembly is completely removable. • Safety feature: Each burner has a thermocouple. Gas will not flow unless the burner is lit. This is a great feature, but it does cause a delay in lighting a burner. You have to hold the knob down for 3 to four seconds to get the thermocouple hot enough to sustain the gas. For me, the delay is worth the knowledge that I will never smell gas again. Disadvantages: • The control knobs have only a 45-degree turn between full on and lowest. This makes it difficult for repeat cooking. • The lowest setting on each burner is not very low. I melt butter in a small pan on the simmer burner and it will burn it on the lowest setting. This has never been true on any cooktop I have ever used. • The burner arrangement is not logical. Cooktops have traditionally had the high-output burner at the right front. Right, because most people are right-handed and front because it’s closest. Here, that burner is at the left rear, where it crowds the center burner. The simmer burner is at the right front. These two burners should be swapped. Conclusion: For most people, this is an economical alternative to $1,000 cooktops, especially if you generally use only one or two pots at a time. The safety feature protects against gas leakage if a burner doesn’t light. Every cooktop should have that feature. However, if you cook most meals from scratch, and have a need to use 4 or 5 burners at once, this one will be frustrating. The limited control range makes it difficult to set a pot to simmer. You will find yourself constantly shifting pots to get enough room and to find the desired heat output.

Works great, looks great!
Just as expected, heavy duty grates, setup for Natural Gas. Bought a flexible gas line and a new valve. Works great.

No Installation Instructions
There are no installation instructions included. Not too hard to figure out but a few pointers would be nice. Especially on how to secure the Cooktop to the counter...

Good cook top, but does have some small issues
Our house was hit with a tornado and had to rebuild. Overall, this is a great cooktop. There are 2 things to note. First, the bigger burners are all on the back which I’m not used to and finding it a bit tough to adapt to. Overtime, I think I’ll get past this. The other item is with other cooktops I can turn it on and it will auto sense the igniter and turn it off once the flame gets going. On these, you have to push the knob down to ignite and then hold it down for a few seconds before you lift it back up, allowing the thermal sensor to get hot. I think this is just a design flaw.
