This gun is smaller than I thought. I had seen other rubber band guns that looked like rifles and were quite a bit bigger than this one. This one is more like a pistol even though its shaped like a rifle. The rubber bands that come with it are small and thin so you can actually load more than one on each peg of the action allowing you to go around the loading catch several times rather than just one. But the spring for loading the bands is tighter than others I've used and makes loading difficult, especially for younger kids that I assume would be using this. Because it is so difficult to load, I took a star off, but otherwise it is a really fun toy that will get many hours of use. The construction seems sturdy and I like the wood finish to make it look like an antique. Overall a pretty good toy for the kids.

Exactly as pictured and described! Cool wooden rubber band gun! My adult son is going to shoot his co-workers with it, lol - It works as expected and shoots far! Great find and fun stocking stuffer!

First time I had one of these was from the Fryeburg Fair in Maine, in the early 90s. I dusted it off in high school for an epic elastic fight at a friends birthday sleepover (we started one impromptu one year, then it became the new tradition). I'm not sure where that one ended up, but I saw this and thought my son would love it.Only issue, is the 'spiked' wheel is only supported into the wood structure on one side. This means that as soon as you try and load more than 4 or 5 elastics, the first one slips and binds the whole thing up. I had to cut some elastics loose to fix it.I'll post some pictures to show what I mean - the fact that you can 'see daylight' through the gun is wrong. . . there should be a black plastic pin protruding from the spiked wheel into the gun structure.So either the design or build quality is an issue. . . Its fixable (and I might try to drill a hold and shoot a pin in there. . but I shouldn't have to do this

This is a fun twist on flinging rubber bands. This is easy to use. No instructions but very straightforward for how it works. It’s a good size for both adults and children. The wood is smooth and flawless. There are a ton of rubber bands include. This would make a fantastic gift. Tons of fun and takes up hours of time. Would highly recommend.

This is a fun little toy. It does a nice job of shooting included rubber bands across a room with reasonable accuracy. I can load up about 4 (start from the back spur and move toward the front). I get good results. Don't aim for the eyes. Works well, decently made for the price, and fun.
