I work in the oilfield and wear coveralls daily, these fit well and are comfortable. The material is a little lighter weight than my old bulwark FR’s, but summer is approaching and these will be nice because they are lighter and somewhat breathable. Roomy enough for layers underneath in the winter too. There’s a lot of nice features, button snap cuffs, tool pockets on the side so my crescent isn’t hanging out my back pocket, and the back pockets fit a tally book nicely. Reflectors are a plus since I walk around at night with loaders around. A couple of excess threads from the stitching but that’s okay - it’s not a fashion contest out here. The biggest drawback was that I had to hem about 2” off the bottom so they don’t drag on the floor when I’m wearing my slippers. Easy task for me but maybe not so accessible/easy for others. I’m 5’10.5” and ordered a large. If you were shorter the length could be problematic, and the elastic on the waist could be tight if you are more rotund in the belly. For the average build they should fit great.

My husband and I own some land in Cohutta Ga. We’ve been manually clearing the land every winter for several years now. It was very overgrown and neglected woods. We’re trying to return the natural native plants of the area. Kudzu has ruined a lot of the trees. My husband has ruined so many clothes from the embers and ash that get stirred up when we burn. I bought him the suit to help protect his clothes. It has worked well! He did say it gets to hot wearing over his clothes which is mainly why we burn and work in the cold weather months. The fire suit is comfortable and durable for the terrain. My husband is 6 ft and weighs 215 pounds. I bought an X-LARGE for him to wear only because of the being able to have room to move while wearing it over his clothes. It was a good purchase for us.

Exceptionally well made. Port West of Ireland makes great stuff. These are comfortable, good flexibility without feeling like you're wearing a burlap sack, good for 3 seasons here in New Mexico (these are not for hot weather).
