Top notch
I can say good things, but was too large, so aia had to change it.

Very good
This aio, works well but is noisy when under heavy loads which is most of the other than when idle.

Risky installation
Most coolers simply sit above the standard silver intel bracket that protects the cpu. The liquid freezer iii (and I would assume the other versions) expects you to remove that to install the pump. This means you risk damaging the cpu socket or cpu itself should the cpu leave the socket. My own cpu fell out of the socket, bending multiple pins, while I was trying to screw in the arctic bracket (€350 replacement cost). I acknowledge my own fault there, but there are simply safer liquid coolers out there that don't pose this risk and offer equal performance.Bought this from the manufacturer but I can't write a review there so I'm putting one here.

ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III
As a consumer who’s been building PCs for years, I’m always on the lookout for high-performance cooling solutions, especially for my gaming rig and high-end work tasks. After much research, I decided to try the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 420 A-RGB, and it’s been an absolute game-changer. Here’s my in-depth review after using it for a few months.Installation ProcessLet me start with the installation. The ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 420 A-RGB comes with a detailed manual that makes the setup process relatively easy, even for those who are less experienced with custom PC builds. I opted for the 420mm version to ensure my CPU would stay cool under heavy loads, and the radiator fits perfectly in my full-tower case. I was able to mount the fans and radiator without any issues, thanks to the included mounting hardware that supports a wide range of sockets (Intel and AMD). The included thermal paste was easy to apply, which is always a plus, saving me from buying additional thermal paste. The A-RGB lighting was also a breeze to set up. It’s compatible with most major motherboard RGB controllers (I used an ASUS board with Aura Sync), and syncing the fans with the motherboard was simple. The lighting looks vibrant, and the effect is smooth without any flickering, providing a beautiful and sleek look to my build.PerformancePerformance-wise, the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 420 A-RGB is nothing short of incredible. My CPU temperatures used to get pretty high, especially during heavy gaming sessions or when rendering videos, but since installing this cooler, those concerns have been entirely alleviated. Under load, even in the most CPU-intensive games and tasks, I see temperatures stay well within the safe range. It’s capable of handling even the latest high-performance CPUs, including AMD’s Ryzen 9 and Intel’s 12th gen chips, with ease. The cooling performance is exceptional. The 420mm radiator provides a large surface area to dissipate heat, and the three 140mm fans work quietly and efficiently, even when running at higher RPMs. I’m amazed at how much cooler my CPU runs compared to my previous air cooler. Additionally, I’ve noticed less thermal throttling, which has led to better overall performance, especially in resource-heavy tasks like gaming and 3D rendering. The system remains stable, and I haven’t seen any temperature spikes that might compromise performance.Noise LevelsAnother highlight of this cooler is how quiet it is. The fans are almost inaudible under normal load, even when the system is under heavy strain. When they do ramp up to higher speeds, they still remain quieter than many other cooling solutions I’ve used in the past. This makes it ideal for anyone looking for effective cooling without the annoying noise of higher-speed fans. If you’re someone who values a silent PC or works in a noise-sensitive environment, this cooler won’t disappoint.AestheticsAesthetically, the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 420 A-RGB is stunning. The integrated A-RGB lighting on the fans and the pump block adds a customizable touch to your build. I’m especially impressed by the sleek, modern design of the pump block, which doesn’t take up too much space but still looks premium. The RGB effects are vibrant and smooth, adding a visually appealing dynamic to my setup.Build QualityThe build quality of the cooler is excellent. The radiator feels solid, and the tubing is well-made with a nice, flexible design. The fans have a high-quality feel and the cables are long enough to reach all necessary components in a full tower case. I can tell this is a product designed to last, with durable materials that can handle high temperatures over extended periods.ConclusionOverall, the ARCTIC Liquid Freezer III 420 A-RGB has far exceeded my expectations. It offers fantastic cooling performance, is easy to install, and operates quietly, making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to keep their high-performance system cool. The A-RGB lighting is a nice touch, adding style to an already functional product. Whether you're a gamer, content creator, or someone who pushes their PC to the limit with intensive tasks, this cooler will keep your system running at optimal temperatures. For the price, it’s a fantastic value and a must-have for anyone looking to build a high-performance rig. Highly recommended!
