Buffet of Buffet Black with Cherry Wood Top with Hutch by Home Styles

USE: I purchased this Cabinet to replace an old buffet cabinet I had in my kitchen. I wanted to have a visible space where I can store my glassware. Sometimes I forget what I have if I can’t see it. And I also wanted to have storage to put the kitchenware that I use once in a while and some teaching books I use often with my kids. This fit the bill perfectly.PROS: I love that the wood is solid and not compressed. The quality is definitely worth the money. We got three separate boxes and it took my husband, who has a lot of experience in construction, about 3-4 hours to unpack and put it together. He says it was packed very well and none of the pieces were damaged.CONS: The only problem we encountered was that one of the holes did not align well with the screw part that was supposed to go in so my husband had to sand down a piece of a bottom shelf to make it for properly. Thankfully since it was the bottom shelf and another piece goes over it, it worked out fine. The other unanticipated problem is that the drawers are very tiny. And while I can fit everything else from my old buffet in, I had to find room somewhere else for the things I had in the drawers. You cannot even fit a stack of printer paper in them. I’m attaching pictures with the measuring tape so you can see the measurements of the inside more or less. There is a about an inch of lip underneath each shelf.CONCLUSION: What I would say is that if you’re getting this piece of furniture, make sure that you’re skilled and willing to put in the time to assemble it or get someone to do it for you. It’s beautiful but it takes time. And don’t plan on storing much in the drawers. Otherwise it’s great.

This has to be the best piece of ready to assemble furniture that I have ever purchased. The quality of the materials, finish & packaging are exceptional. Everything was labeled & the instructions were easy to follow. The end result was a beautiful, sturdy kitchen hutch. I am very pleased with my purchase.

This is an incredibly cute piece of furniture! It is also quite sturdy. Excellent value for the price. I've had it for months now and still admire it while sitting at my kitchen table.

This is a fantastic product that was packed very well, had easy to follow instructions and well labeled parts. My only complaint would be the cam lock screws on some of the joints. They were lose, but holds together fine once fully assembled.

I'm a cabinet maker, and I found this hutch to be of much better quality than expected. Everything went together in couple hours and fit perfectly. Instructions are clear and included extra hardware.

This is a two person job if you want to get it done in a timely manner. One person could manage, but sheesh! Looks great, but there was fiber glass everywhere!

This would be nice except for the fact it is missing the "counter top" part. The product comes in two boxes. The first box arrived and as we started putting it together, we noticed we only had parts for the upper hutch. I contacted Amazon who made arrangements to send out an all new unit. The next day the lower part of the unit arrived. I put that together 2 days later only to find there wasn't the cherry wood counter top included.It's completely built now so I don't want to take it apart to return it. I'm stuck creating a counter top for it. I do not recommend this item and am very disappointed.
