These tighteners are heavy duty and work very well. I like the plastic coating on the U and 2 additional nuts provided to insure it stays tight.

This makes that clunking noise go away while pulling your trailer.

I wasn't looking to purchase this, but when i purchased a hitch-extender, this item popped up.... i did a little research, and then purchased a 2-pack of them -- and am very glad i did !! this item works great to keep my extender from wobbling in the hitch, and the 2nd piece works great to keep whatever attachment i have in the extender from wobbling... definitely worth the price paid -- it works great!

Have had this for about 2 months and the nuts and part of the plate are starting to show rust. My bike hitch and this stay mounted all the time since installing. Hoping it's superficial only and that I caught it in time.I sandpapered and sprayed them down with rust stopper and silicone to hopefully make them last longer.

I got this to secure my bike rack to the hitch. It does a great job. I just installed it and the bike rack is firm doesn’t move at all. The rubber coating on the u bar is very helpful as well as, I guess it helps not just with the rust but also grip Very nicely. I think the two screw design really helps to tighten and fasten very nicely. I think it’s a great product give it a try.

Using this product to hold my hitch steadfast in the receiver. It definitely stops the hitch from jumping up and down though not side to side. Have no idea what size the nuts are. 3/4 too large, 5/16 too small. 18mm a little sloppy but works as a 17mm too small. Go figure.
