I have only had this product for 2 days so it’s a bit early to say if there’s any sign of the stitches coming apart as some others have complained about here. It appears to be of good quality. I bought a size M having measured my ankle at 20 inches. I’m a size six and a half shoe. It fits my foot comfortably (do be aware that this is a single and not a pair) and is moderately difficult to put on because it is quite strong material, but that’s why it is supportive and provides good compression. I don’t have any swelling so it doesn’t leave much of an impression on my ankle when I take it off as I imagine it would if you had a swollen ankle. The top and bottom edges are smooth and do not cut in, the main sock is finely ribbed and tighter. My ankle feels better with the sock on than off but I’m not wearing it all day yet although I think I could comfortably. It does not restrict movement so if you’re looking to immobilise the joint to any degree, this sock will not provide that, I would describe it as gentle to moderate support (stronger than support tights or flight socks I’ve had anyway) So far I’m happy with my purchase

I'm currently on crutches with 4 more weeks of them on the horizon. I purchased this product as my "good" ankle was getting fatigued from hopping around on it all day. I sometimes wear tall compression socks but with temperatures touching 100 degrees those were way too hot. This ankle support is great for what I need. I can wear it with open toed shoes or with a sock over it when I wear a sneaker. The color is just right and doesn't make it scream, "LOOK AT THIS ANKLE SUPPORT I AM WEARING!" This is great because my other leg is currently screaming, "LOOK AT ME, I AM WEARING A GIGANTIC FRACTURE BOOT!" Perspective. It is nice and cool and has helped the fatigue in my good foot and kept it from swelling at the end of the day. I wear a size 7 1/2 shoe and have really narrow feet and ankles. A size medium fits perfectly. It is snug, but not too snug, and doesn't fall down (like other short compression socks I have worn). I have been wearing it for a week, and it hasn't stretched out. As a matter of fact, I am going to order a couple more for rotation. If you are looking for something to combat fatigue and offer very mild support this is for you.

This would be a decent support sock but even though my ankle size is middle of the medium size guide, it is so tight my foot goes blue. I have reasonably small ankles (without the swelling) so find it hard to imagine the men in the pictures wearing it with no pressure/indentation on the ends of the sock, especially considering it only goes up to xl. It is also non-returnable which I couldn’t see on the site when buying. I’d therefore recommend you go for the next size up if you’re ankle size is mid-upper end of the guide so not to lose out on money as it is one of the more expensive supports out there. On a positive note, the sock is discreet (I got the beige) and quite thin so good in that sense. The elastic is tight around the ankle so supportive it’s just a shame the ends are so tight they stop the circulation.
