DanceNwear Cotton Blend (Cotton/lycra) Adult Scoop Neck Long Sleeve Footless Unitard

When I first got this, I was very happy. I was trying to make the tribute outfit to wear to the midnight premiere of The Hunger Games Catching Fire, so I was really excited because it looked almost perfect. Then I tried to put it on: it was a little too small, especially in the arms and chest because my shoulders are a little wider than usual for my body size (I play tennis so they have grown to my athletic demands). As a result, I had to have friends help me pull it on, and I had EXTREME difficulty getting both arms in the sleeves without performing some contortions. In addition, the neckline came down too low for my purposes; so low that it was nearly impossible to wear a bra without it being visible. The only other complaint I have is that the fabric was just the faintest bit scratchy. On the other hand, the legs and torso fit very well in my opinion, but because I am not a dancer I cannot be sure exactly (which is why I am unsure if any of my other statements are valid, because maybe that is how it is supposed to fit). Eventually I realized that I needed a black suit, and because I had a navy one, I had to completely abandon the outfit and take it back to the drawing board for the next premiere. I would say that if I was a dancer and I had bought it in the next size up, I could have easily and comfortably moved around a stage.

I was wary of the fit description online, so I bought a size up just in case. It wasn't baggy, but felt larger than I needed so I think that buying my normal size would have been fine. Between the title and the description, I was confused by what materials it was made from. It says in one place it is "Cotton/Lycra" and another "Nylon/Lycra". I was hoping it was a cotton blend but it is not, it is definitely shiny lycra- so be aware of that for your needs. Overall suited my purposes in a pinch but if I had more time I would keep looking.

I'm just over 5'11" and ordered a large. I wish the legs were slightly longer for my long limbs but at least it doesn't cut up through the torso. It actually pulls a little away from the crotch but that is preferable to camel toe. There's nice stretch. It's not as vibrant red as I'd hoped but it is fine.

I purchased this as a component of a costume, it seems a bit lower cut than it appears in the picture but that didn't matter for what I was doing. I purchased a large and it fit as I expected it to (5'6" / 145lbs) - form-fitting but not particularly tight or binding, certainly nothing as confining as a compression garment or anything, I could move/sit/breathe comfortably and without any unsightly bulges (I'm curvy, it happens ;). I might have been able to get away with a medium but didn't want to risk any areas getting squished...

I am a solid size 12 and the XL is TIGHT and the torso SHORT.

I have worn this unitard a few times and am pleased with the color and quality of material. I let the unitard air dry in order to avoid shrinkage and pilling. I’d purchase this item again (and in other colors) as it is perfect with cardigans and ponchos.

This unitard arrived very pale blue, not the pretty bright blue as in the image. Due to the pale blue color and thin material it was rather see through. All undergarments were very visible and a bodysuit needed to be worn underneath.

Next time I'll go up yet another size- when I order a bunch more! Substantial material, not itchy, good cut, very pleased.
