Great book

Nice read..learnt so much from this book..then i had good results from my trade. Thanks to the author and amazon

The title "Trade Like a Shark" was really off-putting to me (although maybe tempting to some...), because books with titles like this tend to be poorly written, aimed at gullible inexperienced people, and usuallly offer really bad "get rich quick" advice that is detrimental to people's wealth and health. I only bought the "Trade Like a Shark" book because I really liked the author's other book "Naked Trader", and thought this follow-up book might, after all, be worth a look.I found that "Trade Like a Shark" is aimed at a range of people (including more experienced traders that will find something new to learn). The book is extremely well written, and contains remarkably sound, well-founded and fair advice, for all traders. It's also amusing and relaxing to read (in the Robbie Burns style of including references to popular science fiction and chocolate bars...). Most importantly, this book will probably stop (or at least, slow down) a number of people from burning their savings. The book challenges you to think before you trade (whereas many other trading books will tell you "not to think"....!). I am very happy that Trade Like a Shark was written - it's needed!If you are completely new to trading (shares, etc.), or even slightly more seasoned but easily excited, then you should read this book, and you should make it one of the first books that you read. It will help you learn how to learn, and will give you insight into the emotions of trading (from panic to elation, and addiction to keeping cool). The best bit is the section on "What's needed (i.e. for trading) vs what isn't" - this advice is, by itself, worth the price of the book many times over.

This is a brilliantly written book. This is an excellent read for anyone thinking of getting in to trading, already trading, or just curious about how traders think and what they go through. Insightful, practical and equally witty. Robbie writes with a light heartedness that is engaging but doesn't diminish the serious strength behind his message. This should be a traders go to manual and we would all do well to heed the advice Robbie so willingly imparts.

Bought a copy of the first book by this author for son earlier this year.This is the follow up book and will be in his Xmas stocking. Hopefully, it will help him with his investments and we might be celebrating future Xmas holidays somewhere warm , sunny and very exclusive! Well, I can dream on.........Had a quick flick through it and it looks like quite an easy, engaging read with a lot of helpful information.

Great book but go carefully on investment like he warns.
