I was worried that this would just be a cheap board with flimsy nails in it. I was wrong!! The quality of the board, instructions, and nails were far beyond my expectations. Being able to reupload pictures until the outcome was what I wanted was also great. You can use the code 5 times for 5 different pictures. Just uploading them to the app doesn’t count towards that number. You have to get the instructions for it to count. I would buy this again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much!!

Absolutely blown away by this incredible and unique experience. I picked it up as a gift for my girlfriend, and the weaving process was totally engrossing. I thoroughly enjoyed and relaxed while weaving, taking about 7 hours in total. It was super convenient to have the option to follow along with an audio guide, weaving the picture according to numbers dictated by the app. The final artwork turned out to be phenomenal; we hung it in our living room, and all our friends who’ve seen it can’t believe I made it myself. They’re all wildly impressed

Often I do reviews in a pros and cons kind of way. So I’ll start with the good here and then explain why none of the positives matter in the negatives section.Pros =- Nice supplies. Comes with a decent board that already had the nails/pins/whatever you want to call them installed into the board. It also comes with a good sized spool of thread, a phone holder for reading the patterns, etc.Cons =- privacy terms are only in Russian so if you’re buying this on Amazon and don’t read Russian, good luck figuring out what you’re agreeing to.- the app does not work. I entered the code, nothing happened. I entered the code wrong to see if it was just me doing something wrong. It told me it was an incorrect code. So I know it can differentiate between a working code and a non-working code. The app just does not do anything.Overall = total disappointment. You’re overpaying for a board and not getting an app that works to create your own photo string art, which is a big percentage of being able to enjoy this product. Feels like this either was not tested or is just a scam. I don’t know which it is, but I wouldn’t trust this company with access to my photos if they are going to be selling $149 products that rely on software without even confirming if it works or not. Deleted the app and don’t see myself trusting it enough to reinstall it now.

I was intrigued by this kit, even though there were no reviews yet. I decided to try it out as a project. However, just before I received it, a very negative review came out, which made me hesitant and disappointed.Because of the negative review I read, I didn't want to deal with any potential problems. So, I put it off for a month or so and I am glad I finally decided to try it. I had no issues downloading the app, using the code, or following the instructions. You can receive the instructions via email to print, view them on your phone, or have them dictated to you, which is convenient for everyone. They also provide a small kit to assemble to hold your phone.It is also nice that the "string" is more like a thin fishing line.The technology impressed me, but I was not impressed with the easel you're supposed to create out of the box it comes in to hold the string art board. The box is too lightweight and flimsy, and it's challenging to assemble alone. You'll need someone to help. While I was working, the easel would topple over, so I had to find something else to use. This wasn't a deal-breaker for me.They also provide a wooden kit to assemble for holding your spool of nylon string and mounting it onto the string art board. However, this didn't work well for me as my string kept getting tangled. I ended up using an actual sewing spool holder, which worked much better.This is a great project, It's relaxing and fun to do. It would also make for a fabulous gift. But, I am on the fence about the price. I really want to give it 5 stars but I think it is overpriced.I haven't completed much yet, but I'm excited to see the finished picture.
