Tiny pump, big help outdoors
Iโve used this for sleeping mats and small inflatables and it makes setting up camp so much easier. Itโs impressively light and small, so it disappears into a bag without feeling like extra kit. The different nozzles are handy and it swaps between inflating and deflating without any fuss. Battery life has been plenty for my use, and being able to swap the battery is a nice bit of peace of mind. It feels well made and genuinely useful for camping trips.

Only one issue
Seems like a decent product although not tried it yet. Blows air one end, sucks the other. Well made although the power button seems a little flimsy. Issue for me it the hole for the lanyard. It's positioned so that to use the pump to inflate, you first need to remove the lanyard. Badly thought out location. Oh,it's noisy too, very. Still, I would recommend

Perfect for ultralight or lightweight hiking and camping
Great little device. having tested it I can say it's perfectly adequate for inflating a sleeping pad, but don't expect it to be able to do much bigger or anything that needs to be super inflated. I'll forgive it that for the sheer size and portability. Another reviewer asked why it comes with a USB cable even though there isn't a USB socket on the device. After some head scratching (it isn't really explained in the manual) I found the tiny little port hidden on the battery itself! Very cool and the ability to bring spare batteries on a multi day/week hike is clearly super useful. I agree however with one other reviewer who questioned the placement of the lanyard attachment point - why in the heavens did they put it there? It's right on the blowy end which means you can't get a proper seal to inflate things when the lanyard is attached, which kind of negates the whole point of a lanyard. very minor niggle however.

Nothing seems built to last these days
We took this pump on just two camping trips. After a grand total of 10 inflations, the flimsy on/off switch snapped clean off and disappeared into the casing, rendering the unit useless. At the price I paid, that equates to a ridiculous ยฃ3.60 per pump. While it wins points for its tiny footprint, its dreadful build quality makes it a symptom of modern disposable culture. Gear shouldn't have a cost-per-use equivalent to a coffee. If you need reliability look elsewhere.

This thing is AMAZING.
I nearly didn't buy this if you read some peoples reviews - 'its loud', 'airflow is okay', 'could tell me the battery needs charging'. WHAT WORLD DO YOU LIVE IN?? If you are complaining about this item then your life is WAY TOO EASY. The world I live in, where I can buy an incredibly well made, rechargeable, POCKET SIZED (it is TINY, and f'ing quiet for what is does and is) air pump for my stupidly light yet comfortable hiking air mattress (Thermarest NeoAir) is astounding. I grew up sleeping on terrible cots, in terrible tents, with terrible sleeping bags, and now I can hike up a mountain, carry a device the size of a glue stick that will easily inflate my luxury sleeping matt and everyones else's matts - I got about 20 inflations out of a charge - and it costs the equivalent of 4 disappointing Starbucks latte's. Its really well made out of aluminium and good quality rubber, has tons of adaptors so fits every hiking matt I have found, you can bring more batteries if you need to, which is WAY better than when products have one battery cooked into the device - no spares or replacing those - AND at the end of day will DEFLATE your yoga mat as well. Frankly, I was embarrassed to buy it, and even more embarrassed to use it because it is so stupidly nice and amazing and signals the underlying truth that I have given up all intention of putting any effort into my already dwindling abilities to actually get out in nature and do something for myself. Its almost too good. Life is now too easy, and I love it. Get one, and be a reluctantly satisfied miserable git like me!

Very compact but also quite low pressure, not suitable for lilo's or similar beach toys
First of all this pump is tiny and it's also very well made, with an aluminium body. Unfortunately for my use, it's just not powerful enough. I wanted to be able to use it on air beds, Lilo's etc, but in testing, it does not have enough pressure to pump an air bed to a decent level of firmness, so I then need to supplement it. I also tried it on an inflatable pillow and again, it didn't really pump it up hard enough. The spec shows 0.3 psi, which, in hindsight, isn't very high. The nozzles that are supplied don't include anything for a standard 'lilo' style valve, which I presume is due to the low pressure this produces not being enough to push through the valve. I was also planning on using this for a motorbike tour of Alaska, where the compact size would have been ideal, but I don't think it's going to be suitable for the trip. In terms of noise, this is pretty quiet, so it can be used pretty much everywhere. This is still a good pump, just don't expect miracles!

Fantastic product
The pump looks fantastic and seams well built and works very well and also very lite as stated, plus amazon delivered it the same day I ordered so a great service from Amazon. However why did Flextail supply a small USB C cable with the pump when it has no USB C charging port built into the pump?????

Thread Binding
Great little pump, until I had to return it, the battery has an integrated C port which was good, but when I unscrewed the end cap to get to the battery I struggled to get it back on as the screw thread is binding, making it impossible to close tight. Now you ask yourself did I cross thread it, well being a maintenance engineer for 40 years I think not! I guess it was poor quality. Once I get my refund Iโll purchase another in the hope that it was Friday afternoon product.
