If used on hands does it have to be reapplied after washing?

I use it for my back so I can't really say, just trial and error put it on your hands and how they feel for awhile then try it again wash your hands after a few minutes and see if the feeling is different

When is it out of date?

My tubes usually have the sell by date on the bottom of the box. The gel I purchased a few months ago is dated 09/2022 Hope this helps
