The character development as you learn about their true personalities and feelings outside of the masks they wear really drags you in!The different character perspectives, the spice, the romance, the adventure - this book has it all! Had me needing a cold shower one min and wanting to cry the next - 100% recommend!

After the 1st few chapters I wasnt sure I was gonna like this. The relationship between the 2 MC's was so harsh. At the same time they couldnt stay away from eaxh other. It was that aspect that keeps you engaged, its so fascinating. Then you started to see into who they are, why they are and you start to see everything in a different light. I really enjoyed that journey. That ending was not only face slappingly out of nowhere but i found my heartbreaking for a vampire! 👏I've been saying for a long time there is a gap for really good vamp stories. There can be something very sexy about the in the right hands obvs. Ruby Roe nailed it, by far the best vampire story i've read. I've loved all her books so far and this turned into another gem. As fir that ending, yes im still hung up on it lol. Cant wait for book 2!!

Ive never read a book so fast in my life, oh my days! And I WEPT at the ending; had to buy the next book instantly.My new fave auther, honestly has be hooked. 100% recommed

The level of spice in this book is unmatched, the writing is done beautifully and the level of action is great. 100% recommended for 18+ readers though

Such an amazing book instantly fell in love with red and octavia the smutty parts are so perfectly written and had me wishing I had something like that. The ending broke my heart but there is a book two coming so hopefully things change for the better can not wait for the next book pre ordered as soon as I found out I could.
