Q: do these work well and last long in trail cameras?

They work well and last quite a while. I don't know about cameras. I use them in LED lights. The charger is very slow - as in all day or all night. Be prepared for that.

Yes….They will light your solar lights, but they will not charge in the sun. You will need a battery charger to recharge when the lights are dimming and or out. They are not expensive, usually about $20

I am a big fan of rechargeable batteries. I can usually get a life of at least 4 to 6 years out of the NAME BRAND rechargeable batteries I've purchased over the past 15 years. I bought these recently, at a far lower cost than the Energizer or Duracell rechargeables I've used in the past, assuming they're probably made by the same Chinese companies that make the brand name batteries. (They may even be the same batteries but with a different label on them.) I'll report "so-far-so-good". But ALWAYS check the charge right before using! I've found these that have sat fully charged but unused for several weeks need to be "topped off" on the charger again before putting them into use. If I get 4+ years of use out of these I will have saved MANY HUNDREDS of alkaline batteries from the recycling bin and saved myself a ton of money. But we won't know if their long-life claim is valid until a few years have gone by.

Q: Can they be charge with any AA charger?

I had no problem using a RayoVac Battery charger to charge these multiple times. That being said, don't forget to follow the following rules for NIMH Batteries https://www.tested.com/tech/1245-how-to-get-the-most-out-of-nimh-rechargeable-batteries/ , and don't over charge them.
