This is a nice assortment of decent quality stainless steel shims.

The pieces of shim stock are great. The main problem is that None of the pieces are marked as to what thickness they are. ONLY because I have a digital caliper because I’m a machinist, did I have access to measuring each piece. Then i labeled each one with a Sharpie for future use. Of course, even with the measuring instrument, it took a lot of time just to measure and mark each of 33 pieces. Plus I put a small piece of tape around each size category for identification. Overall- good value for the money. One star de-rated for no size markings

It's a nice assortment to have on hand.All 4 edges have a sharp little burr but that isn't a factor for what i am using them for.

They are shims... but the edges have sharp serrated burns on almost all edges which makes using them tricky.

The Headline for the product entry only mentions 1" x12". The thicknesses however in the "about this item" section are in millimeters, which I admit I missed. Needless to say they weren't quite as thick as I expected. The thinnest were .02mm making them .0008 inches thick. No surprise that those thinnest "shims" were damaged inside the package. (They were creased and the edges were very ragged -useless if you want to use them for shim stock.) The thicker pieces were OK however -in terms of no damage. I didn't check the thickness of the individual pieces but the entire lot of them measured under an 1/8 of an inch on my dial calipers.

I had to return this set.As you can see in the photos, the cutting edges are not smooth. Also, some of them are damaged.Photos tell many things....
