Rit Dye – Liquid Fabric Dye for Crafting, Clothing, and Décor – 8 oz. Bottle – Black (Gloves Included)

I used this Rit black dye to freshen up some black clothing that had started looking faded, and it worked great. The color came out noticeably darker and made everything look refreshed again. It was an easy way to get more life out of clothes I already owned instead of replacing them. Very happy with the results and would definitely use it again.

Works beautifully. Mixed with green to make a super dark green.

Stained my pop flex night gown, left in boiled water , left to cool a little for around 20 minutes with pretty constant stirring. Left me with a beautiful dark grey color, was aiming for black but I enjoy this grey color more than I realized. I just needed to leave it in the dye for longer, but I am satisfied I was able to save my dress ! Use gloves ! This will stain things ! The process is a bit involved and messy , but the results are worth it. Followed instructions on back of bottle , minus leaving it for the preferred time. My dress was 100% cotton, however the satiny bows did not pick up any of the dye, which turned out fine

We used to this dye to color some plastic hardware and the results turned out better than expected. The color took flawlessly and evenly across the entire surface. There were no streaks, splotches across the entire surface. It looks like it was manufactured in black from the factory!

I was dying a white bodysuit to make my daughter a fallout suit for Halloween so went with royal blue. The color is exactly was the bottle shows but it isn’t royal blue. I did a second dye and it deepened the color but is still not bright like royal blue should be. It will work for our purposes but just note it’s more of a denim blue. In my photo the one on the left is a true royal blue shirt and the right is what we dyed.

I hadn’t done a dye job in quite some time . First off make sure the materials you are dying are for the correct dye. They make dyes for cotton and they make it for synthetic. The coverage is perfect, one bottle did a pair of cotton shorts and two cotton pull over tee shirts. They came out awesome. Did my dye job in the sink and rinsed them in the sink. The last rinse I did in the washing machine. The cloths came out prefect. No bleeding of color. Rit is great for dying and was really easy to use. I also used the color protection solution to help keep the new color in the material. AAA+++

It worked for what I needed it to. I accidentally used too much and it turned orange. The quality was there I just had user error. Good amount for a good price though! Thorough instructions when you use them!

I dyed a white snapback black. with this. Worked well, weird that it left the emblem and stitching untouched, but thats a positive

Great product

Works great-I fill the kitchen sink with hot hot water, 1/2 a bottle of this dye and a squirt of dish soap and I was able to dye 5 shirts, a light jacket, 2 long dresses and a tote. I rinse them in cool water until the water runs clear and then let them dry and I can throw them in with the regular unsorted cold-wash laundry the next day. The color is a bright apple green on cottons and a more muted sage on non-cotton fabrics. Rit's been around since I was a kid in the 80s and it still works if you want to dye your clothes different colors for more longevity/coordination. I get so bored of my clothes and this is a cheap solution!

Used to dye my fascinator for a wedding

Had a big bleach mark on my Juicy tracksuit. This stuff was like magic, perfect colour and worked first time. Brilliant size bottle and so easy to use. Highly reccomend x
