I have an older computer which has AC passthrough from its power supply to power both the computer and the monitor, but my cable died (thankfully not my computer) a long time ago. These cables aren't exactly easy to find even if you're looking for them, without knowing the key 'C13' standard designation, which is the female (receiving) side of the standard computer power cable ('C14' - the male end which provides the power).As a cable, this works great and now I don't need to use 2 outlets to power both the computer and the monitor anymore. It is a bit shorter than the original, which usually isn't a problem for older computers that have the monitor sitting right on top, but might be an issue if you keep your computer tucked away from your monitor. And since it comes in a two pack, I'll keep the other in storage just in case this one decides to die some day.

These were the perfect power extension cable I needed to give me just that little bit of extra length I needed to reach my PC from the UPS. It works great and I've not experienced any issues using the cable.
