Bc we do not wear shoes in the house, we walk into the garage barefooted & then put on our shoes.These mats are soft which is nice on the feet compared to our previous hard rubber mats. They're also dark grey which masks dirt and small debris.This also came with nice edging which gave it a more finished look.After about a month now, it's held up well in this short period. No loose edging or coming apart in any area. The soft carpeting is not showing wear in the areas most traveled.The rubber part is thick & feels like they would last. But the soft carpet top looks like it will wear. Think cheap Halloween costume fur.ASSEMBLY: took a few minutes to puzzle together. A couple of times I had to take apart already assembled tiles bc I was "1 segment" off when I initially put it together. But this was an easy adjustment.I would recommend these tiles based on our use thus far. I will try to update if these show unusual wear.

These tiles look very professional/commercial grade with their flecked appearance, and are a nice thick rubber that will definitely protect any flooring underneath.Mine did arrive with a slight oily coating on them, and required a quick hose down with some soap mostly because I didn't like the way it felt and wasn't sure if it would stain clothing or not. Probably a residue left from manufacturing, so not a huge issue, just something to be aware of.They were easy to throw together and the little retainers do their job well enough, but I wouldn't used these for exercises that require a lot of foot movement (like boxing, heavy lunges) because I'm not sure how much weight and sheering force they can actually handle, and I would fear the tiles spreading apart.No real issue with smell either, no off-gassing like stall mats usually do. I actually had to transport these in my car and left them in there for a few days because I forgot where I put them. No smell to remind me they were in my trunk!My main issue, which is a fairly large one, is for the price these tiles are pretty small--under 20 inches each. Most flooring is at least 24"x24". It doesn't make these terrible competitive in the price per square foot department, certainly compared to something like a stall mat.I don't see myself buying any more of these, personally. They look nice, but I don't see the value at this price point really being there

When I received this shipment, the box was all beat up (see pics). The top was missing exactly like in the picture.Pros:-Heavy duty! All 6 of these pads weigh about 55LBS! Holy cow! That is freakin crazy! The reason why they are heavy is because they are made of rubber! A lot of gym floors you buy are mostly foam.-Can drop weights on these without damaging floor guaranteed!-non-slip because the bottoms are rubber-They line up together great (see pics)Cons:-Missing clips. I never received the clips so I can't combine the squares to make one piece.-The bottom of these are not flat. This is a con because even if you put these on hard floors, when you step on the mats, you can feel your feet sink in. Because it sinks in, it gives you the feeling of non-sturdy.Other Thoughts:-I'm a little disappointed in this product because of the two cons I listed. If the two cons were not there, this would be a 5 star easy.

So this is a good, heavy weight floor tile set. They are thicker than a lot of puzzle floor tiles I've used in the past. They are very solid and well built, they line up against each other cleanly, and the way they are held together is with clips under the tiles, so they are non slip. I use them in my garage area outside as a work out floor. They come apart to store them, and assemble easily and securely. They are shock absorbent, so they protect by joints when jumping or working out, and they are very easy on the wrists and hands when doing floor work. I am really happy with these tiles. You can use them as advertised, under a stationary bike in your home, or as I said, for floor work in an outdoor setting. I recommend them as a great addition to your home gym space, and I give them 5 stars.

These floor tiles are very nice! They are thick in design and do not slide on the floor. They are a little heavy so you may need some help when pulling them out of the box and laying them down. These tiles are awesome and we 10/10 recommend for any home gym!
