KEEN Men's Waimea H2 Toe Protecting

Great for water, hiking, or everyday.I got these because my other flip flops aren't as tough on the bottom.These have very heavy soles, but because your big toe is locked in, it's not a big deal.They were very stiff the first few days, but are softening up.They do make a huge "Flip Flop" sound slap regardless.I've been wearing them almost exclusively for the past week, and I have had no discomfort.Picking sizes can be tricky without being in person.With Crocs, a 10 often works. I got these in 11.I still have some back heel area open, but my front foot covers the entirety of the front width, so I don't think a 10 works if you have a wider toe box like I do.I just did a river trip with them, and they pierce the water awesomely compared to traditional flops.I never felt slowed down, and the huge rocks I couldn't even feel through the souls.They were super grippy, and I never slipped on the algae (I would have slipped more barefoot).With the front guard, I find my foot less "Grimy" at the end of the day.It protects from dirt getting under my foot.I like them so much I bought a backup pair.

These things are great. I ordered my second pair, even though the first pair still working and looking good I like the protection on the front when you kneel down it protects the toes and they’re comfortable. I got them wet quite a few times and they dry out and still work great

I own two pairs of Keen hiking boots and love the fact that they are super light and very comfortable while doing their job very well. I saw these flip flops at another site and thought the design was pretty cool because they incorporate the design of a flip flop with the protection of a Keen toe. I have been wearing these for about two weeks now and I really love these. The anatomical design of the foot bed makes them very comfortable and with the toe protection I feel I can get away with wearing these places where I would have been concerned before with just wearing flip flops. They look good so I feel they go well with any type of casual wear. As usual with Keens, their sizes run a bit on the smaller side but I already knew this. I would suggest if you have never worn Keens to order one size up from your regular size. Look forward to wearing these for a long time.

Interesting flips. No competition out there? Feels a little funny on, pressing on toes a bit, but no rubs or sores. Good soles, solid support, good arch. Feels good to be walking in a field with toe protection! I usually go for cheaper than these when buying on line (only pay Olukai prices if I'm sure they will work) but I'm glad I bought these. Heavy rotation with good durability.

This is a well-made flip-flop. Well worthy of a Keen product. In fact, had it fit my foot profile better I would have given it a five-star rating. However, while my big toe was adequately covered, the next toe kept sliding out and ending up on top of the toe cover. Making it very uncomfortable, and unwearable. If that next toe was a little longer, or if the toe cover was a little bit larger, it would have been fine.For future models I would recommend a little more of the toe cover to remedy this. This is a really fine idea, but just not for my foot style.

Possibly the most comfortable flip flop I have ever worn. The size is right on. I wear a size 12. That’s what I ordered. The fit is perfect. I would recommend these highly!

The toe protection is real. Quality footbed, my podiatrist approves.I've been wearing these for 20 years and I love them. I joke with people, they are closed-toed sandals. People regularly ask me about them, and many tell me how cool they look.I don't know why everybody doesn't have a pair of these.
