Ever Ready First Aid Extra Heavy Moleskin - 2" x 5 Yards

The wife bought this for other reasons of her own. I started using this from the weight loss i recently had which included loosing my butt size. I have to tighten my belt more now because of the butt size loss. My pants will not stay up. The pants buckle and belt buckle would dig in real tight to my stomach when I sit down which makes my stomach area "skin" hurt and gets irritated. I cut a piece of this and placed it on that area. No more pants buckle nor belt irritations. Felt like a thin, soft fabric. I change this out every 3-4 days not because I have to just because it feels like it's time for a new piece. The adhesive is not harsh. It did not fold nor come undone. Nothing compared to getting a wax when removing it. I slowly peel this off. This would be good for chafing areas also. You won't forget it's there because your it reminds you there is no more irritations.

I am someone who gets blisters super easy on toes no matter what prevention I have tried or use. This sticks on the skin greatly only once did I have slide off my toes during a Florida rain storm. It did stay on my heels during the rain. I was drenched and felt like a lake in my shoes. My whole family wore this skin on heels toes random places on feet. And only I ended up with blisters. Which says this is great stuff. And the blisters I got from Disney/universal (8 days) were nothing compared to my normal without anything/bandaids etc. I have repurchased this and highly recommend this! Great product.

There is a lot of it. I remember mole skin I used to buy this is not as thick as that. It works just fine and maybe we didn't need that thickness.It is good and sticky, if you have an area that rubs you can use this to cushion that.

I buy and use a lot of moleskin for blister-protection in boots. In my experience, the most important characteristic of moleskin for this type of use is whether it sticks to your skin, and doesn't come off with perspiration and heavy friction. Lately, more and more of the moleskin rolls sold by various Amazon sellers are of poor quality, and don't stick to the skin. Beware of trusting this review if much time has passed since its date. But as of 3rd quarter 2024, this product is excellent.

Applies easily stays in place comes off gently

In buying this moleskin, I wanted to protect a large blister on the bottom of the sole of my foot when walking. This does that, but in 14 times of use, it hasn't stayed in place once during my short 20-30 minuted walks. Moleskin I've used in the past stayed in place most of the time. Also, there's sticky residue after removing it every time. I use rubbing alcohol to easily remove it.

I love moleskin to have for putting on my heel whenever I do long driving trips. It provides some extra padding for cracked heels and keeps the pain down a little, while also protecting my heels from further damage or infection. I also use it on areas prone to chafing, like my knees when I use knee pads for work. It protects your skin ahead of time. I wouldn't recommend using it, once you're all cut up and blistered. Main thing is to put it on before hiking to keep the back of your heel from getting blisters. That's the best use of them all, blister prevention. I've never used it on my hands for raking, but I may do so, given the size of the roll, which is far better than buying those tiny rolls at Walmart for so much more.

Terrible purchase. I hike and play sports, recently have been dealing with a nasty callus so I've been using a lot of moleskin and this is terrible. Comparing to the roll of moleskin I've been using this stuff is more than half the thickness. This stuff is super thin. I need five pieces to do what 3 pieces did with my previous roll. It took 3 times longer to peel the back off of the adhesive tape. Add more time to your morning routine with this stuff. This is a terrible product and pulls Amazin reputation down.
