good for light guns
Pay attn to the measurements! I got this to put on a shotgun with a good distance btw the swivel studs, and there is barely enough slack to allow you to shoulder carry the gun with the sling, much less get a good sling-assisted stabilizing grip on a long gun. The measurements are there, I should have paid more attention. Additionally, the strap -even the paracord braided part- is narrower than I thought it would be; again---the measurements are there! Finally, I wouldn't recommend this for a heavy gun: the 9lb shotgun I have it on would be too heavy to carry it shoulder sling'd comfortably in the field for hours at a time. The webbing material is thin, and the paracord portion which should serve as padding for more comfortable carry has an oval (cross section) shape to it which makes the contact area on your shoulder/back feel even narrower. Better to use this on a light carbine-length gun like a 6.5lb AR. I'm keeping the sling for use on a lighter gun as it does seem well made, and I like the concept of having the cord for emergency use.EDIT-the strap width was NOT in the description: the strap is 1" wide, the paracorded part is 1.25" wide (but consider it 1/2" due to oval shape), and the attachment clips will fit sling studs up to 3/8" wide MAX. I have other slings with webbing that is heavier (thicker) and 1.25" wide that make for much more comfortable field carry than a thin 1" sling. Thick webbing will stay flat on your shoulder/back when sling carrying, thus spreading the gun's weight over a larger surface, making it more comfortable.

Great sling for tactical shotgun.
Great lightweight sling. Fit my Remington 870 Tactical with no other parts needed. Paracord braiding is tight and neat. Has a great tactical look to it. Very easily adjustable for quick length adjustments. The hardware is great quality and looks to have a durable black finish. I highly recommend if you looking for a sling that looks clean and tactical.

And I even like the color...
Fits my Mossberg Shockwave perfectly, and I even like the thin blue line...

nice sling
first if your a fireman thank you for what you do,you have helped me many times.the reason im saying this is i purchased this sling with the thin red line for the color. im tricking out my 1022 with small bits of red ,just looks cool to me.in my pic the red looks more hot pink but its not,its a nice crimson red and looks fantastic.its well constructed and made of decent materials.i do recommend this sling, great for a small rifle.

Very useful, purpose built, weapons accessory with survival in mind.
I put this sling on my 870 Police magnum. It’s very well made. Is adjustable, durable and looks very nice. I took away one star for comfort, just due to the fact that it is more narrow than some of the store bought slings such as the butler creek stuff, they are wider and make with more cushion. However buying a paracord sling, your basically giving one bit of comfort for a very useful length of 550 cord, that could one day save your life. I’ll take my chances with the 550 cord any day!! If your not sure weather you should buy this sling or not, just do yourself a favor and buy it. You won’t be disappointed.

Fit My Remington 870 (20 Gauge) Sling Connection Points
Pros: Adjustable sling, Comfort pad, Easy Installation, DurabilityCons: NoneBought this for my home defense shotgun and had it installed within two minutes. I was able to comfortably sling this around on my right shoulder and even cross-back without discomfort. Sling seems very sturdy and durable, well worth the price.

Not for everyone - not a good fit for sub 2000
Guess I should've done my research a little better but this is not a good fit for a sub 2000. Requires a stud swivel and the interlocking metal clasps at the end are too thin to work on my standard swivel. Maybe if I file the metal down, it'll latch but at the moment it's completely useless to me. Also, they don't remove and there's no buckle on the sling, meaning there's pretty much only one way to use this. If you have studs or are drilling into a wood stock with studs, this is a good bet but totally useless for my needs.

Quality gun sling at a reasonable price
Got one for my Mossberg Shockwave; works very well with that "firearm". Kinda wish I could take another inch or so out of the slack but given the unusual size of the Shockwave, I suppose one can only expect so much. The paracord section rides well on my shoulder and feels good at handling the weight of the gun, though admittedly a Shockwave is going to be comparatively light against regular long guns. Very pleased with this sling, and will consider it again for my next bolt gun...and maybe replace the one on my Tikka while I'm at it.
