This stuff is amazing. Engraved that cup and put a small amount on my finger and rubbed it in. Wiping off the excess can be a bit of a pain but it looks nice. To test the durability I’ve left it in the dishwasher now 3 times and so far so good. I believe under normal use and hand washing this stuff will last a long time for what I’m doing with it. Definitely will buy again!

So glad my daughter told me about this. It has saved me so much money as far as updating picture frames, mirror frames, decor objects. When I redecorate, I usually have items that I still like a lot but the color tones no longer work. Spray paint doesn't do the trick, so cheap looking usually. This stuff literally rubs on, then buffs in. Do a second time if you want more color. Zero mess. I did a 3' x 5' mirror without even taking it off the wall and it looks beautiful. I love sort of a weathered or vintage finish so this is perfect.

This was a good deal for me to test what all the rage is about. I don’t know about its staying power yet, but, I found that I needed to use more than what most people say is needed. Also, because it is a wax, there can be uneven application that will certainly show with metallics. The black/ ebony didn’t seem to work very well.

Great item! The colors are beautiful and dry fast! Size is as stated but wish the were bigger! Easy to clean and durable! Definitely buying more!

I'd never used this product before but after seeing what crafters were doing with it, I wanted to try it. The 4 pack allowed me the flexibility to try my hand at it and I transformed a large, ugly plastic mirror with some black satin spray paint and one of the gold shades of Rub'nBuff. It turned out beautifully. Now I'm on the hunt for other items in my house that could benefit from a facelift.

I do chemical glass etching. When I want to add some color, I use this product. I put a dab on an old cotton sock, rub it into the etching, wait a minute, and then polish the glass to remove any excess Rub-N-Buff from outside the etching. If you don't wait long enough, the cream smears in the etching. After that happens it is hard to get an even coating. You have to wait for the Rub-N-Buff to completely harden and try again. If you leave it on too long, it becomes very hard to wipe off the smooth part of the glass. The color stays on with hand washing. I wouldn't suggest dishwashers - I suspect the high water temperature will soften it. At least that is what the wisdom of the internet says but I haven't tried it. Some colors cover better than others. Also, as it gets older you have to massage the tubes before using them. Even then, the first squeeze may not work well. That is part of why I apply it to a cotton sock - to see what that particular tube is about.

The tubes themselves work great but my order was missing the buffing cloth. Contacted the seller twice with no response. I would definitely purchase elsewhere
