I love this bracelet and have worn it several times at this point. It holds up, even for the plating. I am impressed, I get compliments on it and I am enjoying it. It is well made, just don't snap your fingers into the hinge ;) Highly recommend if you want a very dressy piece of quality costume jewelry.

There is a reason they were careful to not show the hinge in the listing's video or photos
I wanted to love this bracelet but was appalled to see such a hideous hinge. Not only is it 100% always visible, it leaves a very large gap down the length of one side. I would not have purchased this if the pictures or video had shown this. As it is, I would rotate the bracelet 180 degrees so that the hinge sits on the outside of my wrist, away from my body, so I don't have to look at it all the time. If there is no way to hide the hinge inside the bracelet, I would much prefer a larger single piece with no hinge that I could slip over my hand... or that the section with the hinge were smaller so that the hinge was on the inside of my wrist and much less visible. I also worry that scratches would show very easily on the brushed surfaceOtherwise, I like the width of the bracelet, including the parts that narrow due to the wavy design. It is definitely a statement piece. I also love the edges wave and are not a straight line, and the lightly hammered surface: both give the bracelet character, interest, and depth. The thickness is also nice, making this piece feel very solid. I can't decide if the metal looks cheap (the wavy edges and "dents" help make it look classier than it would otherwise) ... I suspect it is aluminum instead of brass as stated. If it is brass, it must be plated with something.I think if they redesigned the hinge to hide it when closed or to put it on the inside of the wrist, this could be a 5-star product.
