Don't buy these. Absolute crap from China. My kid was riding for all of ten minutes and the wheels (both of them) got wobbly because the lock nut doesn't do what it's designed to do. Now the newest fun time with them is they've bent on one side to where the wheel was ninety degrees from how it should be. The picture the part above my fingers should be straight. That's how it looks after I bent it back. Cheap crappy product. If I could give it zero stars I would.

These training wheels were quick and easy to install but sadly didn't work for our daughters bike. They seemed very wobbly every time she would try to ride her bike. We ended up getting a different set that worked better for us.

I'm impressed with these things, they're well made, and offer a range of heights for different heights and different levels of support. I'd imagine they'd fit the vast majority of bikes, given the well-designed hardware that comes with it--basically, they give you special extended bolts to replace the mostly standard size bolts on the outside of the real wheel hub. I actually bought these for a use they weren't really intended for: a toddler's balance bike. But even though the hardware wasn't at all designed to work with the extra small size of the rear-wheel bolts, I was still able to get these on, as per the photo. (I left out the horizontal brackets that help keep the wheels in place, which works for such a tiny, light-duty bike, but you wouldn't want to leave those out with a real bike.) The huge range of height adjustability allowed me to mount these at the perfect height. They work perfectly.

The threads on the extender piece were not the same as the nuts for the tires...my grandson still hasn't been able to ride his bike because of this.

So, the goal was to use these on a balance bike. I know. I know. Defeats the purpose but the littles wouldn’t use it so decided to see what I could do. I think these training wheels would have been ok except the stabilizer bars were made to be used on standard bike construction and this balance bike has larger frame tubing. So, they aren’t keeping the training wheels stable in spite of my adjustments because they can’t encompass the frame and mostly rest on it. The only critique I can offer as to the product itself thus far (in their installed but I used state) is that the extension bolts that came with the wheels did not come with a nut or washer and the ones I removed from the bike would not fit the extension bolts. Off to the hardware store where they set me up with metric nuts. I used the nuts I purchased for the wheel brackets and rustled up the ones on the stabilizer bars from my stash. I think in a normal install these would work fine. For my purpose I’ll have to keep noodling. Four stars for the nut situation.

i got these for my son's bike and i was pleasantly surprised how easy the installation process and I had them on in no time. My son loves them and they have made a huge difference in his ability to ride his bike. These training wheels are well-made and durable and they offer a very smooth ride with no issues at all.. very impressed with these training wheels so far.

Flimsy construction, not the correct threads and no additional nuts provided. Spend your time and money elsewhere.
