Bright and Effective Blacklight Bars
These blacklight bars produce a strong, even glow and work very well with fluorescent decorations, posters, and glow-in-the-dark materials. The slim two-foot design makes them easy to install, and the built-in on/off switches are convenient. The four-pack provides excellent coverage for parties, themed rooms, or entertainment spaces. Great quality and value for the price.

Would buy again
Works just like they should and they snap together so that's helpful! Sturdy and size was nice doesn't flicker and it's a warm ambient glow really like them might get a second pair but honestly could get away with just using the one I have it glows nicely and it's sturdiness so easy to assemble I just snapped together found metal on my ceiling and the magnet immediately popped went into place installed I'm impressed with product and myself I am not bob the builder

Super lightweight, easy to use and very bright
I bought these to use in my front yard for Halloween this year. These are the first LED UV lights I have used and I’m quite happy with them. In the past I always used pairs of 48” BLB tubes in shop light fixtures and these are better in a lot of ways, at least for my purposes. To help you decide if they would work for you, here’s a pros and cons list: PROS: - incredibly lightweight, easy to install - these come with multiple different connectors which provide a lot of options as far as use and installation are concerned - between the included mounting hardware, flexible connections and how thin and lightweight these lights are, you can mount them practically anywhere - these can light up UV paint and fluorescent objects from a greater distance than fluorescent bulbs can - these lights are built into their own fixtures so you don’t have to buy them seperately like you would with fluorescent bulbs - these have better “throw” or distance than fluorescent bulbs. These don’t have to be right next to an object to make it glow. A couple of these lights on the ground in my yard about 30ft from my house lit up UV spiderwebs on the upstairs balcony. - BRIGHT! These lights are very bright, they create a very beautiful wash of purple colored light. These lights are bright enough that they will increase visibility wherever you put them. CONS: - BRIGHT! These lights are bright, they are not dimmable, and they create a noticeable wash of purple colored light. If you only want to see the UV glow effect and not the light that creates it then you might be better off sticking with fluorescent bulbs. Also worthy of note, these lights are not waterproof so if you want LED UV lights to use outside long-term than these lights are probably not the ones for you. That being said, I am quite happy with these lights and I will probably buy more in the future.

Im obsessed! 😍
These are amazing! I bought these specifically for my cadmium display. They sure make everything shine bright! I have them attached from ceiling of cabinet, linking to each shelf on the bottom shining down. I love how they can daisy chain together. They can be easily removed. 3M sticker on bottom of shelf + attached to magnet to the light fixture. The very bottom shelf I just have it laying on its side on the floor of cabinet so it illuminates the bottom of the glass. I need to clean up the way they're plugged in from the outside still with the extension cord. I was just excited to get them in. But they work perfectly 👌 I plan to get more and update my other cabinets. I love the switches on the actual cord. You won't have to unplug when you want to turn them off. You can find a space on the outside of cabinet to attach somewhere for ease of use. I love them!

Great Lights at a Great Value, but Not Actually 48" Long
The 48" version of these lights are actually only 46" long, which isn't a big deal if you just want to use them for fluorescence and other general purposes, but it's something to consider if you plan to use them for exposing alternative process prints (which is what I use them for), screen-printing plates, etc. Your final coverage area will be slightly smaller if you mount them length-wise in a UV exposure unit setup as I did. Beyond this one caveat, though, they're great lights at a fair price. They come with several connection/daisychain options, including connectors that let you butt the fixtures end-to-end up to 8 in a row from a single power input (you could probably do more, but that would pull quite a bit of power through all of the fixtures, which might cause premature failure, so I wouldn't risk it), 4-foot cable connectors, and even just individual power connectors with inline on/off switches. Some have knocked the metal clips that come with these, but I found them to be fine for mounting to flat plywood. I don't think I'd trust the screws in drywall or on ceilings, though, since they're really short. Get longer screws if you want to mount them to such material or surfaces. They put out a lot more visible light than fluorescent blacklights, but my goodness do they ever put out a lot of light overall, including UV light. Each bar uses 22 watts, and since LEDs have about a 6:1 ratio of light per watt compared to incandescent, this is roughly equivalent to the light output of 132 watts of incandescent light per bar. That's pretty great. And, since the UV light these things produce is in the 395-400nm range, they're less dangerous than fluorescent blacklights (the purple kind), which put out mostly 365nm UV, which can still cause freckling and even mild burns at close range when a lot of them are used, as I do with my alternative process photography. I've included photos of the exposure unit I built using 16 of these bars to give others who might want to use them for this purpose an idea of how they can be set up. It's pretty easy, and much less bulky/heavy than using fluorescent tubes while also being much less prone to breaking, since there's no glass, only metal housings with durable plastic lenses and end caps. Overall, I give these lights a 4-star rating, dinging them 1 star only for their being 2" shorter than the advertised 48" length. Also, they ship in their factory box without any additional protection, so they can be bent and otherwise damaged pretty easily in transit. One of the four sets I ordered came bent like this, so I had to exchange it for another, but Amazon makes that very easy. This lack of extra protection is a shipping issue, though, not a product issue, so I didn't ding them for that. I highly recommend these both for fun and for more critical uses. They're easy to install and use, and their installation options and versatility are far superior to fluorescent fixtures while also taking up less space and weighing less. I'm highly satisfied with these lights.

Working Great for Cyanotypes
I ordered these Barrina LED Black light 10W 1FT, Magnetic LED Black Lights for a UV exposure unit. I make a lot of cyanotype prints. A few years back, I built an exposure unit with LED strip lights (the kind that are like tape) and it has worked well. However, it is very large and heavy and the only available surface I have that will accommodate it is the floor. Clearly, not the best solution. I recently saw a video where someone converted a broken scanner into an exposure unit. They suggested these lights. I have a scanner that will not work under any operating system I have available. I thought I would try converting it into an exposure unit. Although I would be limited to cyanotypes no larger than 8 1/2 by 14 inches (the size of the scanner bed) nearly all of the cyanotypes I make are no larger than 8 1/2 by 11 because that's the largest paper my contact printing frame will accommodate. I ordered two sets of these lights (for a total of 8 strips) and arranged them inside of the scanner. The lights are only about 2" from the scanner glass, and I had some concerns about hot spots or uneven lighting. However, this turned out not to be an issue; I am getting consistent lighting across the scanner glass. My original exposure unit contains 5050 LEDs that purport to be 385nm. For a negative that requires a 6 minute exposure on my old unit, I only need a 2 minute exposure using these lights. At least some of that difference is no doubt caused by the distance between my paper and the lights (it's about 5 inches with my old unit) but these Barrina lights are clearly emitting sufficient UV for cyanotypes. And, because they are built into a scanner, I don't need to use a contact printing frame as the weight of the scanner lid is sufficient to keep the negative and paper in close contact. If these lights continue to perform, I plan to order a few sets of the two-foot version and build an exposure unit that I can use for 16x20 prints.

Better than expected
Got this for a party in my garage. I had purchased another kind before and they weren’t as bright. These are amazing! I know the price seems a little steep but these are so bright and nice quality. If I need more in the future I will definitely buy them again. I’ll attach a photo of just one lit up!

Happy
These look Amazing. Framed the bed with them and they light up the room fantasticly. Nice they connect to each other and only need 1 power outlet. Very light weight. Used 2x sided tape to mount. Bought used "mint" and was missing hardware. They said it was the Amazon facility that labels conditions of items: however, they replaced it promptly. Very happy customer.

Made my party amazing
I used these for a UV glow party in my basement! 4 lights were good and bright enough that no other lights were needed. They’re super light and had a pretty easy installation process. They lasted all night and did not get extremely hot. Only issue with them is the short cord - I was able to use 4 separate extension cords to solve this issue. Since they were all too far apart (5 ft apart) they were unable to share extension cords. Overall, very happy with the lights!
