RXBAR Protein Bars, 12g Protein, Gluten Free Snacks, Strawberry (6 Boxes, 30 Bars)

If I were not careful, I could eat six of these in one sitting. They're just so tasty, and they feel so good. Sure it's like eating a strawberry candy bar, but it's a healthy strawberry candy bar with dates, egg whites, almonds, well you can read the rest of the ingredients on the box. I grab one of these, and a piece of bread with peanut butter, and I feel like I've got myself a peanut butter and strawberry sandwich!

Love the texture and taste. The ingredients are all natural and give the bar a unique taste and texture. Nutritional value considering the limited ingredients is great. I like some flavors more that others but I think they are a great value.

These are really good. No chemical taste. They are a little sweet so I eat them with plain Greek yogurt.

A very yummy, satisfying, light meal or snack. Healthy choice, I am a diabetic, so helps me when I'm low, without jacking my sugar up too high. I like all the flavors.

That first taste of homemade goodness makes you feel at home sort of.

These are slightly moist and chewy and taste pretty good. I was anticipating another weird taste experience but that wasn't my experience. The strawberry tastes like real strawberry, not just "flavoring." I wanted something without chemical additives and assuming the ingredient list is trustworthy, that's what I got. I will buy more and have no problem recommending them.

This review is for the strawberry variety of RX Bar. As I began to cook my own food from scratch more often, I found that I can no longer tolerate synthetic or poor quality foods. These RX Bars, when I can afford them, are a godsend for quick high protein meals on the go. Just pair it with a ready-to-drink protein shake and you're ready for the road. The quality of the ingredients range anywhere from good to excellent and the flavor is great. I would not recommend them for anyone with braces or dentures or anything because they are VERY chewy, have large pieces of almond or even whole almonds in them, and are rather sticky due to the dates and egg whites that act as sweeteners, binders, and protein sources. I appreciate the simple list of natural and wholesome ingredients, and I needn't worry about food sensitivities and adverse reactions to preservatives and fillers, plus they are a great source of fiber. Obviously they are not an option for anyone with tree nut allergies, but they are gluten-free, grain-free, and vegan. Probably not the best option for someone on a ketogenic diet, but they should work for paleolithic and whole foods diets, and I suppose even a justification for inclusion in a raw food diet could be made.

I hate that eating better is so spendy but these bars are yummy. Don’t let the look of it when you open it scare you; it tastes exponentially better than it looks! It is super tacky though & will stick to your teeth & give you a bit of a jaw work-out eating it so if you have dental issues, be careful. I love them though & chew on my “good side” & will keep ordering them when I can afford them.

I have tried all the RX bars and this and the one with banana in it would be my least favorite. All the RXbars are wonderful and nutritious Just prefer the other flavor especially the maple syrup.
