Mr Moris Grey Mullet Powder Premium Quality Bottarga Kosher (40Gr)

I use this bottarga on linguine vongole. It's a great alternative to grating from a solid roe block becasue this product keeps well in the jar without going off or growing mould like the blocks. If you don't eat vongole everyday or run a restaurant, this is ideal. Having said that, it probably works well in restaurants too. The flavour is good and not diminished by not being in block format. Not too expensibe either. Good product.

The product looks fresh and has great taste. I bought initially the whole bottarga, and this time I decided to buy it already grated. I bought tuna and mullet. I personally like tuna bottarga better but it is just a personal taste. I sprinkle some in on top of eggs and it is a great combination.

Had not previously bought this brand of Bottarga but it is excellent and certainly has more umami than many others available. Well priced and well worth the money.

I ordered it to try it. I have never had it before. I was not impressed. Very expensive and not particularly appealing.

An excellent consistency (light enough but not powdery) and a fabulous flavour, without being too fishy. I tend to have it on scrambled eggs on toast and it elevates the dish to an entire new level.This one is grey mullet and is absolutely divine! Highly recommended!Obviously it goes without saying that if you don't like the flavour of fish then you'll likely hate this but then why are you shopping for bottarga?! :)

I wish I had discovered bottarga earlier in my life, it adds a wonderful umami flavour to every plate it graces. My only quibble would be over its high price, but sometimes price is an indicator of quality, and this product is very high quality indeed. If you have never tried bottarga, I can't think of a better product to start with than this.

The grey mullet powder is a good way of adding flavor to your seafood although a little expensive but a lot is not needed so it goes along way.

You've got to try this, it is simply fantastic

Since the roe comes in a powdered form, it does not need to be grated or sliced so it's quick and convenient to use. However, it still has the nutty, briny, savory flavor of dried grey mullet roe. It tastes great with pasta. After cooking spaghetti al dente in salted water, I drain the pasta (reserving a cup of the pasta water) and then cover the pasta with some extra virgin olive oil. After that, I add some bottarga, black pepper, pinch of salt, and pasta water and mix everything well to help emulsify the sauce. A more flavorful sauce can be made with garlic, pepper flakes, lemon zest & parsley. The attached pic shows a family member's version of this.

Ho recentemente acquistato due vasetti di bottarga tritata e devo dire che sono rimasta molto soddisfatta dalla qualità del prodotto. La confezione era accuratamente sigillata per preservarne la freschezza e l'integrità del contenuto. Una volta svitato il tappo, ne ho apprezzato l’aroma ricco e il gusto intenso. La consistenza era perfettamente granulosa. Ho usato il prodotto per insaporire degli spaghetti all’aglio, olio e peperoncino.La spedizione è stata tempestiva e il servizio complessivo di Amazon è stato efficiente. Consiglio vivamente questa bottarga a chiunque desideri arricchire i propri piatti con un tocco di autentica bontà marina.
