These are so cool! I’m done with the days of propane lanterns. This doesn’t need batteries even though it can use them to run. Internal battery charges usbc and even better by solar. Used twice on our camping trips and it’s really bright for what it is. Charged in the sun the next day and used all night the next. Considering buying another one.

Using in a storage area with no lighting. Works well to hang from the ceiling with a straightened out hanger to illuminate the whole space. Well made unit, long battery life, the four D cell back up power is genius. I keep four batteries in the storage area just in case.

This is a multifunctional light. It's solar... It's rechargeable USB... You can use batteries or not. We took it camping. It recharged our phones and recharged itself. Very bright with several light settings. We have since gifted it twice. Great product... Buy it.

Lightweight and gives off a tremendous amount of light. Also has various brightness settings. I have a Maglight that is good for spot applications but this lantern will easily light up a room. Great for those occasions where the power goes out. I love that it will recharge via solar or USB. Even works on D cell batteries. I wish I had this when camping years ago. Much better and safer than my old Coleman Lantern which I still have. Fits nicely on a shelf in my kitchen area (see picture) My daughter purchased one and I just had to get one for myself.

This was wonderful to have handy when my power went out last winter and I had to use it to go down in my basement at night and light the wood stove for heat! I love that you can also charge your phone from it. I always keep it by a window solar charged and ready to go!

This thing works great. It's very bright in a dark room. End up affordable u s speed charger.Seems to hold a charge for a long time for camping

Fantastic lantern. THIS is quality made. Thank you Duracell for making a quality product. Super bright, and can dim it to any setting you want. 3 methods to power: built in rechargeable battery, solar, or 4 D cells. Highly recommend this over the cheap crap that you'll find. This is quality!!

These things are great and they're way bright enough you don't need more than 2000 lm... 2 ways to charge besides using D cells. I gave one away brand new. They make a great gift now that leaves me with six for myself. I had three I had bought somewhere else, a big membership store... Then I purchased four off of Amazon.
