5.67" 7W GU24 LED Bulb 2 Prong PL 3000K 700LM, 18W CFL Equivalent, 120-277V

When my Mini CFL bulb blew out, I ordered these because I have a very narrow light fixture - see attached pics - that would not take a larger diameter bulb AND had the weird GU24 base connectors. I had been wanting to replace those CFL's for the last 3 years but we hadn't found a bulb that could fit our narrow light fixture. Wanting to go LED, I was fortunate to stumble upon these while searching high & low for a narrow GU24 base LED bulb. It's only been one night but these are highlighted by: 1) VERY bright output @ 700 Lumen version - even though it's listed output is less than the old regular CFL. 2) Perfect color for my taste @ 3K version because I like the less yellow color. 3) Multiple position setting using the twistable 180° adjuster - since the bulb is actually lit only on one side. 4) Made for damp conditions like the bathroom I attached 2 pictures : - one focusing on the directional output of the bulb (darker pic) - I adjusted the bulb to face away from the wall - one showing how much light is outputted - even with bulb facing away from wall - you can see how much it lit up the room [Summary] I love that these bulbs were only $~10/ea. & they should theoretically last a lifetime even in a room such as my bathroom. Backed by a 5 years warranty, I hope these last so long I don't have to use that policy.

Using this in one of those "boob" light fixtures. You know the ones I mean, flush with the ceiling with a knob on the bottom, and don't try to tell me you haven't thought of that as well! Anyway, one reason I don't like those fixtures is because about half the light, the half that goes up, is wasted. So I was super excited to find these. I got the 7W version to replace 13 W compact fluorescent, and they are plenty bright! Decent but not excellent light quality. They do have a delay of about half a second to turn on. Really only noticeable if you have other bulbs in the same fixture; with all three bulbs this time, all three come on at basically the same time, so they delay isn't a problem. Only word of warning is that for the GU24 base, the bulbs can be inserted two different ways. So if you install it one way and it can't rotate the direction you wont, DON'T WORRY! Just remove the bulb from the socket, rotate it 180 degrees, and re-insert. It should now be able to aim where you want.

I installed this on the stairwell to the basement and it worked to perfection. There was a half second delay on coming on but that wasn't even a mild inconvenience weighed against the utility of directing the light. The 3000K, 700 Lumen light is ideal for the stairwell.

Garbage. The bulb died in less than two weeks. The previous bulb I used in the same fixture lasted 7 years.

great bulb. our porch light uses this goofy bulb. its nice because you can swivel it to direct the light

Nice bright light but it has a brief delay before coming on, which I still find annoying after several weeks of usr.
