Southworth 13C 100% Cotton Business Paper White 20 lbs. Wove 8-1/2 x 11 500/Box

I have a project that requires quality archival type paper; Southworth's paper meets my requirements. I am perfectly satisfied. I have ordered this product three times and will order more as my project continues. I started the project in June of 2023 using a different paper. After six months I found the paper was not adequate; I restarted the project using Southworth's Cotton Business paper (archival) and will continue using this paper.

I was looking for a new ream of paper to last me though the year for school and various projects. I was looking for a Bright White paper that would exceed 97 brightness that I could use for presentations. Well during my search, Amazon recommended the Southworth 13C 100% Cotton Business Paper. It immediately caught my attention since I'm studying photography and wood pulp is a big no no in the art world, and the words "100% Cotton", Lignin Free" and "Acid Free" are a huge YES! I went to the Southworth website to read more on their process and quality, and then decided to buy a ream. Once it was delivered, I opened it up and felt the paper and checked the watermark. I then printed a cover page for my portfolio and compared my previous paper to this paper. I was astounded at the level of detail this paper was able to produce. The blacks were "Black", not washed out black, not grey, but Black! Just that alone shows that this paper will be able to produce true rich colors without a washed out look. I can also use this paper for many other things like covering my photographs for storage so the paper will take the elements, and not my work. I can also use this for model release forms so that they last longer and give the client a feel of prestigeness.

Definitely had some trouble with paper jams with this as other reviewers had mentioned, but only on one of the printers we have here at work. Other than that, the paper is great.

I make Custom Origami Mobiles, and years ago when people started requesting All White Crane Mobiles, I had to find some paper that would stay white over time and wouldn't turn yellow over the years. This has been my go to paper for folding white paper cranes. I love the texture, and the weight, and the color is such a pure white. For my purpose I wish there wasn't a watermark on each sheets because I end up cutting the watermark out so it won't be part of the cranes, but for me it's a nuisance I don't mind because of the high quality of the paper itself. :D

I used this paper to print my dissertation. Its great quality. Unfortunately, my dissertation was 270 pages so I had to spend a bit of money to have enough paper to for 5 books. Anyways, it would be great if they sold these in a 1000 pack as well.

I ordered this paper originally but received a different style and color and I'm SO happy I did! I received a blue parchment ream that is beautiful and prints well. So who knows?! You might get this. You might get a better type!

I got this “fancy” and expensive paper to print my dissertation on. I didn’t realize until hundreds of pages had been printed that about every tenth page had a small hole in it. I had to sort through hundreds of pages and then reprint them again. Would not recommend.

The paper is 100% cotton rag, acid free, archival. If one cares about the document or as in my case the art work that goes into it then it must be printed on the highest quality paper available. The 20LB weight is the only drawback; but, if you care to have a stronger paper go for the 32 lb.. El papel es 100% algodón, sin ácido, calidad para archivo. Si a uno le importa el documento o, como en mi caso, la obra de arte impresa, debe imprimirse en el papel de mayor calidad disponible. El peso de 20 libras es el único inconveniente; pero, si te interesa tener un papel más fuerte, elige las 32 libras. En general, este es el mejor papel disponible para documentos importantes.
