The lenses are cheap plastic. Not a high quality product. Probably isnt effective for true blue light filtering. Spend the money and get real lenses.

When I tried these blue light blocking glasses on and looked in the mirror I was reminded of my grandmother’s glasses she used to wear 40 years ago. They looked pretty cool and stylish from way back then. These glasses definitely do block light and mute colors down quite a bit. These are a thin pair of glasses that I didn’t mind wearing but I really need them to have the magnification reading glasses built in for me to use with my phone/Ipad. I can wear playing games on my large screen tv good with them on but it’s taking awhile to get adjusted to the colors being different while wearing these glasses. The colors aren’t that far off though really... the water changes from blue to greenish color or a red to a maroonish color. I do like that the frames are all one piece and they don’t have separate nose holders. Those tend to get broken off and have to be replaced. These are built into the frame. I liked that these are lightweight and they are slim pieces on the sides going over my ears so that I can barely feel them there making them quite comfortable to wear for several hours at a time. The price is a little more than I would want to pay personally but I know that glasses tend to cost quite a bit so these are actually a good value all things considered.

I have tried many blue light blocking glasses, and these are absolutely marvelous in every way. They are extremely lightweight, attractive looking, and block blue light effectively while promoting the ability to sleep after viewing electronic devices. I have read that working on these devices at night without such protection can disrupt circadian rhythm and cause disruptions to sleep. The orange tint makes for a more relaxing experience viewing screens, but one should be aware of the altered colors when looking through these lenses. When reading text on a black background, I find that text in blue is pretty much invisible, although larger areas with the same color combination are not affected. This does not bother me, and I prefer to wear a tint after 8:00 p.m. when looking at my computer, phone, or television. I find sleep is easier with these orange lenses. They can also be used to block glare when driving at night or when foggy or otherwise low-light conditions exist. Having had cataract surgery recently, which makes my vision very clear and sensitive to bright lights and glare, I find this valuable.My new JW MARRIOTT glasses arrived in an attractive box suitable for gifting and came with a semi-hard zippered case with satin loop at one end for carrying as well as a cleaning cloth. The frames are perfectly balanced when set on a table either right side up or upside down, and they sit evenly on my face without pulling to one side or sliding down my nose. The frame is well made with no rough edges, and the hinges, which move in both directions, appear solidly constructed. All in all, these glasses are high quality and fashionable. Normally, I do not care for clear frames, but I am quite pleased with my choice when paired with the orange lenses.I am happy to recommend these JW MARRIOTT blue light blocking glasses to anyone looking for high quality fashionable glasses that are lightweight and come with a safe case for storage. As I said before, I have tried many blue light blocking glasses. These rest comfortably on my nose as well as at the top of my list.

I enjoy using this for work and gaming which has helped my eye sensitivity and will be getting more.

These glasses have much to like. They are stylish, they were packaged well, and most of all the case is awesome. I really wanted these glasses to work out, because I really want the case. Unfortunately, the main point of blue blocker glasses is to block the blue. I tested them with several methods, and they do mute the blue, but they don't completely block it like my other blue blocker glasses do. If muting the blue is good enough for you, then you'll like these glasses.

It feels super flimsy and kind of looks like something I would get at a dollar store. The tint is super strong. I feel like I'm wearing sunglasses while looking at my screen with a very orange hue.In terms of usefulness, I think it seems to do a good job blocking out the strong white lights from my monitor. I'm just not a fan of the build quality but it seems to do what its made to and looks decent.
