GORILLA GRIP Heavy Duty Luggage Straps for Suitcase, 2 Pack, Orange

We bought new hardside luggage and purchased these as extra protection to help extend their lifespan and reduce stress on the zipper. The straps are bright green and will make it easier to identify our luggage on the airport carousel. It fits the width of my 28 inch luggage fine and fits the length with just a couple inches left that could be extended (see picture). The straps seem pretty heavy-duty and of good quality. They fold up for easy storage. The connectors are EXTREMELY difficult to open with first use. You really have to use both hands and press both thumbs (one on either side) as hard as you can while somehow also pulling it out. Fortunately, it seems to get easier with use and I can sometimes now get it disengaged with one hand as expected. I guess at least that means it is not likely to come undone during travel!

These luggage straps feel sturdy and well-made, and the adjustable design makes them easy to fit around different suitcase sizes. The TSA-accessible feature is convenient when traveling, and the bright green color makes my luggage easy to spot. Overall, a simple but useful travel accessory that adds extra security and peace of mind.

I bought these straps because my luggage isnt the top of the line, and I was going on an overseas trip involving 7 different flights. I didnt want my zippers to give out. These held up great, even with completely packed bags, and my bags held up as well over the 7 flights. The straps made it easy to spot my luggage, too. Highly recommend!

The quality is good, but definitely not going to use these or any others like these. First they get very dirty, but most importantly, it facilitated thieves at Punta Cana airport. They ripped open one of our suitcases irreparably ruining the zipper and after taking whatever they wanted, they held the suitcase together with the straps in such a way that we didn't notice what had happened until we got to the hotel in Madrid and opened it. I'm sorry, but I had never been robbed before so no straps for me ever again.

Perfect fit for large luggage! Easily adjusted and simple to use. Quite strong and made travel less concerning due to strengthening of fasteners. Quite pleased with this purchase!

Bright color and sturdy. I was not worried about my luggage popping open. As I got two packs (of two) I was able to create an ‘+’ top to bottom and they were very easy to see coming off the airplane.

So far so good . Traveled with the in our rolling carryons allover Japan and South Korea , checked luggage no problem at any airports . Allover train stations , local buses bumpy roads and be constantly being taken off and on . No issues . I bought them two reasons: my husband has neater luggage not sure how the zippers would hold up- at least strain would hold contents in . And this trip we checked our luggage in and extra security Felt . Less likely baggage handler would try open it up. This was 3 week trip - let’s hope it lasts for many more

I used two of these straps for a suitcase on a vacation this past month and, so far, it worked great for me and it looks like it's still in great condition. What I try to do is be mindful of where I leave the clasps. I don't place them the way the pictures show because I feel like that increases the risk of damage, especially if there's other suitcases stacked on top of each other. I try to place the clasps on the side of the suitcases. When possible, I put them underneath soft handles of the suitcase, or at least near it, to provide extra cushion. Basically I put the clasps where it's not as likely to experience a lot of pressure when being handled in airports or other places. I feel like that helps reduce risks of damage. There's still a risk of damage no matter what we do but I knew that when I bought the straps. I still think the straps were great so far.
