Prequel Skin Hypochlorous Acid Spray - HOCL Facial Mist Minerals 4oz

This is an excellent product! My dermatologist recommended I try a Hypochlorous Acid Spray to clear up the odor in my right armpit (I know, TMI) that I was struggling with. I saw Prequel recommended online and when I realized that it is Accepted by the National Rosacea Society (this label is on the container) I decided to try this one, as I have suffered from Rosacea in the past and was currently quite red on both sides of my face and hadn't had any luck with over the counter remedies. I like the size of the bottle and I am really impressed with the spritzer, it sprays a fine mist. It is very lightweight, and there is no tingling or stinging or scent when I sprayed it on my body anywhere. I spray this like deodorant on my armpits immediately after showering and drying off and it has done an excellent job of killing the bacteria that soap and water wouldn't wash off. I also decided to start spraying this on both sides of my face after washing and drying to see if it could help with my redness. I just let it dry and then add my deodorant or my makeup (depending on where I had sprayed it). One day after having used it for 1-2 weeks I looked in the mirror and I realized that the redness on both sides of my face had gotten better! It wasn't gone, but it was not as red!! I can't tell you how happy I was just for the reduction in redness! I also spray it on my upper back and chest to help with minor acne as well, since I have oily skin there. What it is, is chlorinated water, which makes it a mild antibacterial (like what they use in swimming pools). Honestly I wish it came in containers twice the size.

This hypochlorous spray from Prequel is amazing. It soothes my skin and calms redness from my rosacea. When I had a sunburn on my legs, this spray helped cool and heal it. Amazing stuff

i’ve only had this for three days now but so far great. i must say this pump is excellentttttt!!! i’ve used tower 28 & briotech hypochlorous acid sprays too and the pump on this one is sooo much better sprays much more evenly i was shocked. as for the product itself i feel like i prefer it over briotech bc it doesnt leave my skin dry and it smells less like chlorine compared to tower 28. i would rec this!!!!

I never do reviews on products but I took my time to do this because this product is amazing And has more than one use. First of all it helped with my perioral dermatitis I use it before serums with my face already cleansed, the second use for this is that it is also a deodorant and the third is that works on any kind of damaged skin, open wound. So Buy buy buy

I have Type I rosacea, which means mostly I have redness and flushing. It has gotten better since I learned more about my skincare routine, and my rosacea. But there is still lingering redness and sometimes stinging if I'm not careful. This seems to be helping - while not completing erasing all the redness, I see a reduction. It took a couple of weeks - it isn't instantaneous, at least for me. It doesn't sting or burn going on. There is a slight 'chlorine or bleachy' scent but it's not bleach! It's very gentle. But do a patch test to be sure - always patch test. Can be a little drying so be sure to moisturize. And don't over-use it. I only do once a day and I don't spray much. I spray this on my clean dry skin and let it air dry. I don't use anything underneath it, not even toner, so I don't spray it in the mornings or evenings when I am using toners, serums/actives. This doesn't last long if you use it daily. Likely I'll start using it every other day and if my skin does okay, I'll continue with that. Absorbs quickly.

I’ve used other hypochlorous acid sprays and this one is a great one! The spray comes out in a fine mist for even application. It’s non irritating for sensitive skin as my skin gets very irritated with a lot of products. Smells a tiny bit like chlorine pool water as all hyphochlorous sprays do however it’s not overwhelming. Only slight issue I have is that I twisted the top to get it off and the liquid leaked out. Do not twist the top! Worth the money though.

This product has helped keep my acne at bay. Especially my bacne after working out. It’s worth the price. It also has no fragrance so I know it’s good quality

3.5/5. Reduced redness wonderfully and somehow decreased the look of my pores. However, the spray goes everywhere and when it gets on my arms and legs, the stickiness makes me want to commit crimes. Which isnt helped by the fact that it's very hard to remove on arms and legs as soon as it goes on. A very helpful but very messy product.

I have a sensitive skin with rosacea and it worked very well for me. It's hydrating and clear my skin of eczema together with a slight diet change.
