Worked good. Bright light.
I already understood from reviews that the batteries inserted turns this on and right afterward the batteries removed turns it off. It's a tad bit clumsy dropping the 1st battery in to get it to drop flat, but realizing the price point and design, that's nothing to really add or subtract rating. Once inserted in the barrel, which was a near perfect fit, it seemed to work perfect. I didn't have rear sights to adjust but wanted to confirm if the side shell holder I attached with its top plate allowed a decent line of sight to the front fiber optic sight I recently installed. Just pointing at a wall about 30 feet away, line of sight across the top to the front sight showed to be within an inch of the laser dot on the wall. And the left to right alignment was near exact from 30 feet away. Comes in a nice little storage case.

I was fully expecting cheap, but even the case is solid. Xtra batts always nice. It has weight and the laser is well built. Decently machined. It's tricky to get batteries in and out. I stacked them upside down and slid off table into compartment. Would recommend

Looks nice, but Bore Sight did NOT include the batteries (x2) described in Amazon's description! :(
Item description said it was supposed to come with 2 sets of batteries (two sets of 3 LR44). However, there were NO BATTERIES in the package whatsoever, including inside the boresighter (yes, I checked!). So now I must either need to return this 12-Gauge EZShoot Bore Sight Laser Boresighter or find batteries for it just to even see if this item is functional! I specifically ordered this with batteries, including a spare set because there were other options! So I'm extrememly disappointed with Amazon's misleading description!

Works better than another returned competitor model
The unit I received appears to be centered much better than another competitor model I returned. At least this one is consistently straight even after ejecting it and loading it back in several times. I don’t have to be adjusting my sight laser every time thinking it’s out of calibration when in reality the calibration unit was out of center and why I returned previous competitor models.
