I bought this because of the hype and supposed quality. It is meant to be a PDM Layton dupe. I'm yet to get my nose on Layton so I am unable to comment on how close this gets to the OG. But what I can comment on is the performance and I can say that this is an underwhelming fragrance. The opening is a blast of pure alcohol and when it clears the fragrance is barely detectable. I have to really press my nose of where I have applied it and even at that, scent is so faint. The box says "Extrait de Parfum" which indicates an even higher perfume oil concentration so I'm a bit perplexed at how weak this is. Frag reviewers claim this to be a projection monster and over 10+ hours longevity, granted it's my first day of wearing, it doesn't come close to either of those claims. I hope I have just being unlucky to have received a bad batch. I was really excited about this before I purchased but feel extremely disappointed by how poorly it performs.

Buena aroma para temporada de frio, buena durabilidad, sin embargo recomiendo para mujeres maduras, ya que las notas no son tan joviales , con poco es suficiente, a mi gusto es muy fuerte el aroma

The media could not be loaded.  Haramain's Orientica Velvet Gold perfume - the bottle alone screams royalty. This fragrance is warm & inviting. Orientica Velvet Gold is long-lasting and lingers throughout the day. Even after washing my hands throughout the day, the scent is still there.I especially enjoy the fragrance's top notes: Pink Pepper, Violet, Bergamot &Caramel. In the base, there are "animalic accords". I have no idea how those notes factor in the fragrance DNA but all of the notes work together to create this gorgeous fragrance.
